I stayed with my family at the cabin for a short getaway to Mammoth Cave. The house was clean, well furnished, and had plenty of room for my family of 5. My teenaged daughters especially loved the coffee options, with the different K-cup flavors, syrups, creamers to experiment with.

Chris was awesome and very helpful, we wanted to rent a boat and he sent a couple suggestions. was extremely happy with his help

This place was perfect! It’s a short drive to local attractions but peaceful. We even had turkeys in the yard when we arrived :). The hot tub and fire pit were great amenities too. We felt right at home and Julia was super responsive and kind. We will definitely be back!

This little cottage was perfect for our family of six. It is important to note that the upstairs can comfortably sleep four kiddos since it has a bed and a futon. Also, it should be mentioned that the park is literally on the other side of the property line! That’s how close the cottage is from the park. Talk about proximity!

Great location for a visit to Mammoth cave, with just the right amount of seclusion and convenience with a couple small stores 5 minutes away. The house is beautiful! My kids especially loved the bunk room and fishing off the dock. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed. The owner was very responsive as well. We would stay here again!

We had a group of 13, gathering for Thanksgiving. The house was well appointed and the kitchen was perfect for large groups. The Blackstone was a great addition for cooking for a large group. We enjoyed all the features of the house. We did opt to pay an additional $250 for use of the hot tub. Unfortunately the temperatures dropped and we were only able to bear the cold for 15 minutes. The surrounding area was beautiful and serene. Thank you for a beautiful stay!

The place was so nice I love how spacious it was I love the decor I love that it made me feel it home had no problems getting in the door accessible to other places of surrounding the facility I didn't have to worry about no one bothering me or interrupting me or disturbing me My overall review best 10 out of 10 I would definitely book with him again if I'm ever in bowling Green Kentucky I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to stay I didn't have no problem with payment I didn't have no problem with it being nasty or dirty check out with easy just as well as check in thank you for allowing me to book that place for my stay there

Absolutely beautiful stay. Came out for a weekend trip with 3 friends and the two full bathrooms along with 3 beds(and couch) were everything that we needed. Plenty of space and such a unique home!! A peaceful stay around 45 minutes away from mammoth cave. A gas station and dollar general around the corner about a 2 minute walk away provided for all of our immediate needs. Was weary of the few reviews but couldn’t have been happier. 10/10 couldn’t recommend this any more.

Our family of five had an amazing stay at the Green River Lodge for spring break. There were such personal touches throughout the house at every turn. From a kitchen with everything we needed and more to bathrooms with thoughtful touches, we felt right at home. Allison let us check in early and Steve helped with the Car Charger when it needed a reset - so nice to be able to plug in our van! We had fun exploring Mammoth Cave and the cute town of Mumfordville. There were severe storms while we were there, but we stayed nice and cozy inside playing games, cooking, and watching TV. Allison reached out to make sure everything was ok after the storms which it was. We enjoyed the upper deck with a great view, even in the rain. It is such a great quiet location. As we reluctantly drove away after a great stay, all our kids asked when we were coming back!

Our group of 9 had a great stay at this home. There was more than enough space for us all. It was very clean, the mattresses were comfortable, and I appreciated the abundance of coffee provided. We also appreciated the clear directions for getting to the actual home, as it is tucked away and could be confusing. It is very out of the way, but that's what we were looking for. Would absolutely stay again.

Our stay started on a disappointing note, and I have to admit I was a bit worried about how the rest of the trip would go. But I have to give full credit to the host for how they handled the situation. As soon as I reached out, they were incredibly responsive and quick to address the issues. Their professionalism and willingness to make things right really turned everything around. By the end of our stay, the experience had completely shifted. The host’s attentiveness made us feel genuinely valued, and one moment, in particular, stood out. My daughter lost her favorite plush toy, and the host went above and beyond to help us recover it. That thoughtful gesture meant the world to us and truly made the stay memorable. Overall, while the beginning wasn’t ideal, the host’s care and effort made all the difference. A private secluded no frills, albeit well-worn & weathered, little off grid cabin in the pretty Amish countryside, but with solid beds, amazing camp stove, great propane heat etc. Bring firewood since most was damp there (or we couldn't find the drier wood pile of actual logs not woodshop lumber cuts) and we used extra duvets & pillows from our camper trailer for added comfort. Lots of outdoor space and even picketed fence around the cabin should your dog not have solid recall. Can't beat the beautiful surround of the woods & river below. Our running-breed dog loved it. Kids would love it too! Very peaceful. Exactly as described. Thanks for accomodating us!

The house was perfect for our weekend away! Plenty of space both inside and outside. We went to Mammoth Cave and Louisville from here, and it was a relaxing home base.

Great cabin, with such peaceful views/area! The cabin itself had plenty to do between all the games, pool and ping pong, which was exactly what we had in mind to stay put in order to hang out all together!! Everything was so well organized with great instructions. The kitchen and baths were well stocked which made it so easy to function as if you were in your own home!! Amanda was great and so responsive! What a hidden jewel!!
