Monthly Rentals in Haro Strait

I lived in this place for a month and I have something to say. The place has everything you need and even a little more, appliances are in great condition. Quiet area, although not so far from the center. Cory is a great hostel. I would like to recommend this place.

It would be impossible to overstate the beauty of this place in the woods. The host described it as paradise, and I can’t help but agree. Although the guest house is very close to the main house, and those looking for seclusion may be disappointed, the host was sensitive to issues of privacy. The house itself is a fascinating work of architecture. Those who are familiar with the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, Antonio Gaudi, and even Mies van der Rohe, will find interesting parallels in this space. (I thought of Mies every night, getting out of the shower in front of a shadeless picture window.) The furniture inside consists of artfully selected pieces chosen especially for the space—beautiful, but not especially comfortable. I was very glad I remembered my hammock and could enjoy the forest and a book while lying under the trees rather than trying to relax inside the house. The location of the rental just above Limekiln State Park and West Side Preserve is ideal for hikers.

We had a truly unforgettable stay at this Airbnb — it’s an absolute gem! Waking up to a panoramic ocean view right from the bedroom was magical, especially on a sunny day when we could see the snow-capped peak of Mount Baker in the distance. Nature lovers will be thrilled — during our stay, we encountered two adorable deer, a group of wild rabbits, seals, Canada geese, and even an elegant egret. The home itself is spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed: washer, dryer, dishwasher, and a fully stocked kitchen. Falling asleep to the soothing sound of ocean waves at night was an experience we’ll treasure — truly the kind of peaceful luxury that makes a vacation special. Mason is a fantastic host — incredibly kind, attentive, and caring. It’s clear he puts a lot of heart into making guests feel welcome. All in all, this place was a rare find and a highlight of our trip. Highly recommended!

I have stayed in Carolyn's place before so no any surprises for me. Liked the location close to food shopping, nice area for a walk and close to the ocean while away from the tourist area.
