Hytta er ei eldre hytte med lyse vegger og naturlig tre på veggene. Det er et trivelig nabolag der alle er trivelig og hjelpsome.
“Mr. Kay Morten, is an exceptional host, the hospitality and friendliness of his family is at the heart of the experience in his cabin. it is a magnificent place to go hunting for the northern lights (just 5 min by car there are two places to watch) and to enjoy nature, animals and especially the fjords of Norway. The flat is located on a small farm at the foot of the Lyngen alps - with high peaks and more accesible hills just outside the front door. Close to the ferry landing at Svensby.
“We spent 6 days for our Honeymoon at this flat during the last week of December and enjoyed our stay very much. Trond was helpful before and during our stay, and although we didn't meet him, his parents who live next door were incredibly helpful and kind. The flat is big enough for a one week stay, clean and spacious, we used the kitchen facilties everyday. The flat warmed up very nicely during winter and retained the heat also. Svensby is a beautiful area and you can be in the wilderness within 5/10mins, the Lyngen Alps are so close if you wish to go on a trek, and there is a Husky/Snowmobile centre nearby too. Although the weather wasn't great, we saw the Northern Lights everynight from our flat, and add times we'd drive for 10mins into compete darkness to see it more vividly. A large supermarket is on the island which is a 20min drive and there is a ferry service to the mainland every hour. I would definitely hiring a car to get from Tromsø to Svensby and to get around. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely think about coming back.”
