The cottage is located behind the hotel in a quiet location. You can't enter through the back entrance in winter because it is snowy, so you have to go around the outside through the snow to the main entrance. In itself no problem but if you just come out of the warm onsen a little too bad. The onsen was not the most clean and had two warm pools, one inside and one outside. All in all, we were very satisfied as the room was very spacious, bright and warm.

A modern jacuzzi bath is situated in a well-lit corner, surrounded by large windows overlooking a snow-covered landscape. The elegant tub features a smooth, curved design with bubbling water, set against a backdrop of wooden and tiled walls.

It was really perfect for relaxing away from the city, and I slept for the first time in a long time.The outside terrace was also large, and the breakfast in the beautiful air was exceptional. Koichiro was a great host and very accommodating. The house was lovely and very comfortable for 2 couples. Location was great and only a short walk from all the shops in echoland. Had a few resort shuttle buses nearby to choose from. We had a wonderful time and will sure be back again.

One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had across many countries and years. Had a group of six of us stay. Patrick coordinated with us to pick us up from the station, offered to drive us to gather groceries, and made time to drop us off when we left. Took time to make sure we were comfortable, understood how to use the homes features, and gave us plenty of information on what to do in the area, even down to giving us updates on mountain weather each morning and making recommendations on which ski field to go to each day based on changing weather conditions. He was invaluable and a super friendly and helpful host. Thanks mate! See you next time!

This room was a very charming place to stay, renovated and modernized in a historic vacation home.There was enough space and facilities to stay with 2 adults, 2 preschoolers and a small dog.The interior was very clean.Recommended for similar members.It is important to note that you need to drive a little on the dirt road from the paved road to the room, and it is not too casual to access the surrounding facilities listed with the photos of the room.

Vaughan and Mayumi have equiped the cottage with everything you could possibly need to make you feel at home. Would absolutely look to book here again if we ever make it back to Hakuba.

Nice little house. We were 4 people and found it a little cramped considering it catered for 6 people. Could do with another lounge chair as there was only seating for 3 people in lounge room. Also could have done with another toilet And there was no clothes dryer. Which meant we had to go to laundry mat. Saying all of that Desmond was very helpful and replied to me straightaway and was very helpful full.

I stayed here to focus on some work on my laptop, and it was perfect — super quiet and private, with almost no one around. There weren’t any supermarkets or convenience stores nearby, which was a bit inconvenient, but it wouldn’t have been a problem if I had a car. Since it’s pretty deep in the mountains, next time I’d like to come with a car or a bike! The Wi-Fi was great too — I got 76Mbps download speed on the Fast speed test, so everything ran really smoothly. I’d definitely come back! 🫶❤️✨
