Great location. Many of Reykjavik’s restaurants and primary attractions and are within easy walking distance. Very comfortable for our family of 5. Apartment was clean and as described. Hosts were very communicative and responsive.

Gudrun was lovely and so quick with her communications with us before arriving and during. The place was exactly what we needed for a week long stay near the downtown of Reykjavik! It was so homey and artsy and the balcony was a game changer.

Conveniently close to Keflavík Airport for car rental return and catching an early morning flight. A larger person may find the shower stall tight. Windows outside the sleeping area do not have blackout curtains or shades, but the sleep area was pretty dark and my sleep mask blocked out the light from the other rooms.

Lena´s place is great for a couple or single traveler. The location is right next to the church but is on a side street so it was nice and quiet.

This is a top class modern property in a perfect location with lovely references to its past and lots of extras, including various power adapters. Thora was extremely helpful and responsive. Loved everything about this place, thoroughly recommended 👌

Wonderful experience from start to finish. The space was roomy but cozy, in a great location, and exactly what we needed. Check-in was smooth, and the host was super helpful throughout our stay. Great views and is a short walk to main attractions. Highly recommend

Your providing a car with the airbnb was so appreciated- as was the pickup from the airport and the stop to see your "friend". Thanks for making us feel at home while traveling abroad.

The apartment was easy to find, very clean, and peaceful. Everything was exactly as described, and we were given lots of helpful information in terms of the location and local food options. We appreciated the kitchen, which had everything you need to cook for yourself. Super easy to park as well as get to and from anywhere in the city/on the highway to whatever day trips you might be doing. Definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the Reykjavik area!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to popular attractions like Rainbow Road and plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby. It made exploring the city super convenient. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, always quick to answer any questions and make sure we were taken care of. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

Pour notre première nuit en Islande, nous avons apprécié le calme de l'appartement d'Helena. Il est agréablement spacieux et très très propre. Vraiment proche de l'aéroport, c'est un plaisir de s'y poser après une journée à voyager. Keflavik est une mignonne petite ville pour se balader. De la chambre, la vue sur la mer est apaisante. Notre petit garçon a vraiment apprécié les jouets à disposition et le petit lit installé pour lui. Merci beaucoup ✨

Magnea’s apartment was fantastic. Clean, comfortable, warm and very well appointed. The apartment decor is not only comfortable but so cute and thoughtful. I loved all the local touches. And the location can’t be beat!! Right across from the sea with fantastic views. Great for relaxing and watching the world go by, which was my entire agenda. I also found it easy to walk to the small grocery store for food as well as the bus stop to ride into Reykjavik - take the #55 to the #1, and then voila! Magnea was very responsive and helpful - a perfect host. I would definitely stay here again!!

Svava's place was perfect for our first trip to Reykjavik. We loved the location, close to the cathedral, shopping and restaurants. Her directions about getting to the apartment and getting inside were complete and helpful. The apartment was clean and cosy, and had everything we needed. Svava helped us find a place to buy a small appliance we needed. One note: the floors coverings have concrete underneath. Since you'll be taking off your shoes inside, you may eant to bring slippers.

Great location and lovely place. It has everything you need for your stay and at a walkable distance to every sight within Reikiavik. If you rent a car it is also very close to the golden circle and other sights. Everything was clean and the host was very responsive.

My wife and I love our stay at this apartment! Centrally located and easily accessible to all major tourist attractions and bus stop (important!). The host was very responsive and helpful, and even allowed us to have early check-in. It’s very clean and looks exactly the same as seen in photos. Highly recommended!

Meiner Freundin und mir hat es sehr gut in der Wohnung von Sigidur gefallen. Mit dem Auto war man in ca. 10 Minuten an der Hallgrimskirche. In der Nähe der Unterkunft gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und eine Bäckerei. Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus sind vorhanden.

Our family of 5 (3 pre-teens / teenagers) did an IcelandAir stopover for just a couple of days. This BnB was in a great location close to the airport and the city. The home itself was wonderful and easily accommodated us. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. Elisa provided amazing recommendations for things to do and local places to eat. I wish we had more time to spend in this wonderful country. When we come back, we hope Elisa and her family will host us again!

This place was great! Very close to the center of downtown Reykjavik (less than 1km walk to a great number of restaurants, shops, and activities). The place was private but there is definitely some noise from the road and people walking on the sidewalk that can be heard inside. The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen was outfitted with almost anything anyone would need to cook a light meal. There is not a shower but the bathtub has a wand that can be used to rinse off in the tub. The washer and dryer are a nice addition and worked great.

We had an amazing time at Geir’s family home! This was an incredible place to spend the new year and we would absolutely return! The location is perfect. We were able to walk outside the city lights a short distance to get an amazing view of the northern lights. A designated lookout is also a short car ride away. Plus, downtown Reykjavík is a short car or bus ride away! It could also be a good walk for those who like to hike.

Dom Mattiego to świetna baza wypadowa do zwiedzania Reykjanesu (od geotermalnych okolic Gunnuhver, przez park krajobrazowy z jeziorem Kleifarvatn, Reykjavik, aż po gejzery czy wodospad Gullfoss). Blisko z lotniska (20 minut autem). Sam dom w spokojnej okolicy, bardzo duża przestrzeń, w tym 4 sypialnie, duża kuchnia i łazienka czyniły to, że jako 4-osobowa rodzina czuliśmy się bardzo komfortowo. Łatwy dostęp do kluczy mimo późnego przyjazdu, możliwość zostania nieco dłużej w dniu wyjazdu oraz szybkie odpowiedzi gospodarza - to także czynniki decydujące o naszej bardzo wysokiej ocenie. Jeśli miałbym polecić bazę noclegową w tej części Islandii, to Vogar i dom Mattiego polecam z czystym sumieniem. A przy okazji - powroty o ciemku (zima 2025) do domu Mattiego z naszych codziennych wypraw i zorze polarne widziane nie tylko w ciemnych miejscach w okolicach miasta Vogar, ale także spod domu - niezapomniane chwile dla nas wszystkich!

Rósa's apartment is exactly as it appears in the photos. It's modern and very clean, with a spacious bathroom and kitchen. Rósa was always responsive when getting in touch and provided clear instructions on how to check in. The hot tub on the balcony was an amazing addition to an already stunning apartment. The location was perfect for us as well, situated on Reykjavik's main street and easily walkable to dozens of restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops. My wife and I would definitely book again.

Great spot very close to everything. Walkable to everywhere, large bedrooms, very clean. proactive and helpful host. Will be staying here again when I re-visit Iceland!

Sloveig was such a wonderful host and really went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. The place was beautiful and comfortable in every way imaginable and super close to the city center without the crowd. Definitely a place I would want to come back to!
