TinyCaliandra is an unconventional lodging in the middle of a field area with woods, with a privileged location in São Luiz do Purunã.
With spectacular views of the Devonian escarpment, this accommodation has 19m2 of indoor area and also has 2 outdoor decks and a perfect lookout to enjoy a romantic sunset for two.
This tiny house is one of 9 units installed, self-contained in water, energy and wastewater treatment, in an environment aimed at integrating with nature in a sustainable way.
The space
TinyCaliandra has a minimalist design, and has the necessary items for a comfortable and elegant stay for a couple.
The kitchen/living room is equipped with a 2-burner stove and a large-sized minibar, a woodworking table that can be used as a dining and work table, and has the necessary items for preparing meals.
The bedroom has a queen-size bed and a closet, as well as a countertop and a sink (we provide bedding). Just a curtain in the bedroom to wake up with the day. (Bring an eye mask if you prefer.) The separate shower adds to the charm. On the outdoor deck, there is a sofa for relaxing overlooking the woods, and access to the overlook on the roof.
And don't worry, we have Wi-Fi (unstable because it's a shaded area).

Go on a gastronomic tour of the region's inn restaurants, in places like Colônia Witmarsum in Palmeira (9.3 km), wine bars, or stock up at the village market.
Ask for extra services such as delivery of market purchases or special baskets, and indications of activities and tours, guides, and restaurants.
Other things to note
The environment in which TinyCaliandra is inserted is aimed at preserving fauna and flora and integrating with nature in a sustainable way.
For this reason, it is important to follow some rules so that your stay is comfortable and, at the use of resources is conscientious and responsible.
- Water: from a spring located on our own land, 250 liters of water are available for each Tiny House per day, which is enough for comfortable use. Using it responsibly is essential. Ask for an expense chart if you need it.
- Electricity: the energy is generated by solar panels, and is not connected to the electricity grid. For this reason, saving energy is essential, especially on rainy days and at night, when there is no sun and the system only uses the stored energy. The voltage is 220V and it is forbidden to bring electrical equipment to TinyCaliandra that has resistances such as hair straighteners, coffee makers, heaters, etc.
- Effluent treatment: the treatment is done by a biodigester, which treats waste naturally. Foreign objects thrown into the plumbing can clog the system.
- Food: all waste produced must be disposed of correctly, at the guest's expense. It must be separated, transported and disposed of properly, as there is no collection. Garbage bags are available to take the garbage away. Good food planning reduces the use of packaging. Tip: Although the minibar is a good size, a container of ice cream will not fit in the freezer!
- Car circulation: the land is a preserved native field of the region, with cattle. Drive only on the defined paths. Do not forget to close the property gate whenever you enter or exit. Belongings may be unloaded near Tiny BUT vehicles must remain parked in the designated location. TinyCaliandra is located in the Cariama center.
- Coexistence: as in any community, we must be respectful of the owners and guests of the other tiny houses, and not make loud noises after 10 p.m. Pets are not allowed at TinyCaliandra.
- Precautions: The use of bonfires and smoking is PROHIBITED. Please note that this is a native field area and there are wild and sometimes venomous animals. Avoid getting too close to the cattle, especially with calves. Avoid walking in open shoes when walking on the grounds. Be careful when wearing shoes left outside. We always suggest using repellent and not going into the woods alone.
Have a great stay!!
