A short one-hour drive from Johannesburg makes The Windsor the perfect getaway for friend and family trips and breakaways for small teams.

A beautifully appointed villa with free-flowing living spaces which open onto the patio and pool deck to enjoy the warm South African summer and picture-perfect sunsets.

Enjoy a boat cruise on the dam, a ride up the cableway, or game drives in the nearby Pilanesberg Game Reserve.

The space
The Windsor has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a guest toilet in the games room. The main living area upstairs has open spaces opening up onto a large patio with a splash pool, a sitting area, a dining area, and a built-in charcoal braai, all with spectacular views of the dam.

A cleaning service is available for guests. The service is included in the rate for weekday stays. Servicing on a Sat/Sun/Public holiday attracts a R200 surcharge payable directly to the housekeeper.

The entire house is accessible to guests.

Other things to note
Check-in is from 3:30 pm onwards. You will be met by our housekeeperVeronica to check you in: if your arrival time is after 16:30, you can check in via our self check-in method.

Check-out is at 11 am. Late check-out is subject to availability, upon request.

We have Wifi throughout the house.

There are three Smart TVs for your viewing pleasure. Two with access to a full bouquet of DSTV, and all with access to Streaming services.

There are a number of clearly marked solar-powered plugs around the house intended for charging phones, and laptops. The solar backup also powers the lights, TVs, and Wi-Fi during load-shedding.

A five-burner gas stove and charcoal braai ensure that cooking is not interrupted during load shedding.

The property has external security cameras and beams.

There is a Fire Extinguisher and a First Aid kit in the broom cupboard in the kitchen for minor emergencies.

Complimentary bottled still water is available in the kitchen fridge on arrival.

Tea, coffee, and sugar are available in the kitchen. There is also a Nespresso machine in the kitchen with 8 complimentary capsules per stay for the coffee connoisseurs :). A few milk pods are made available for tea and coffee. Please bring your own milk for breakfast cereal. A dishwasher with detergent is also available for your convenience.

The lounge and all bedrooms are fitted with air conditioners to keep you cool in Summer. We have a wood-burning fireplace and provide wood, firelighters, and matches for the chilly winter days and nights.

All linen, bathroom, pool towels, and soap are provided for guests.
