**Please note: Bookings of 1-2 guests have complete use of the original one bedroom shack. For 3-4 guests, or if you require a second bedroom, please choose “3 guests” to secure the downstairs quarters, directly below the cottage

The space
Light, leafy and stylish, with private entrance with secure keypad access. (Our property is not suitable for children).

For bookings of 1-2 guests You'll have the use of the entire original cottage. For bookings that require two bedrooms please ensure you select in your booking “3-4 guests”, for an additional fee, you will have access to additional quarters ‘The Cove’ situated directly below Sailors Heart cottage. Both areas overlook lush gardens and bush.

Please note The Cove is located directly underneath the original Sailors Heart cottage, it has its own seperate entrance and the two bedrooms are not adjoining. Making this ideal for two couples. Downstairs guests enjoy the lush garden and have a toilet ensuite but need to access the upstairs cottage to use the full bathroom with shower /kitchen etc

Please note, The cottage is situated behind our family home. So some occasional interaction with us can be expected around the outdoor spaces, however inside the space itself is a quiet, private retreat, and a world unto itself.

For nature lovers, Enjoy the abundant wildlife and relax with some bird watching from the balcony. Binoculars included! Step outside the cottage to see our peaceful and incredibly cute native residences... Australian stingless bees and hive in action. At night, you might also be lucky enough to spot owls and a possum or two!

You may be greeted by our resident dogs the very friendly cavoodles Murray (white) and Bazzy (tan) who lives with us in the main house, thank you for keeping the gates closed as you come and go. The dogs are very friendly and social and love a play however Murray the white dog may bark when he meets new people. Our guests absolutely love the Murray and Bazzy, however If you don’t like the occasional interaction with a family dog, then Sailors Heart may not be for you.

Sailors Heart Bookings through Airbnb are for residential, holiday stays only. Any photoshoots or filming etc for commercial purposes should be disclosed and arranged separately with us prior to booking and a location hire fee as additional to accomodation fees. We are happy to assist small and large brands with this as our property is a popular choice for brand and location shoots!

Bookings for 1-2 requiring one bedroom, guests have complete use of original cottage, Sailors Heart. Bookings of 3 to 4 guests enjoy the additional use of seperate quarters, ‘The Cove’. This includes another master bedroom and toilet en-suite and seperate patio. Please be sure to choose correct number of guests to secure your booking of correct spaces required.

Other things to note
Our guests love that Sailors Heart is low wifi experience and Eco aware, we actively promote a reduced single use plastic free stay and encourage guests to use the recycling and composting systems on site. More info on how to easily participate in this is available once booked.

At night it is common here to hear a possum or two on the roof of the cottage, please be assured, they are not in the roof. If you hear a thud or scampering on the roof, it’s most likely the resident possum getting from A to B.

Please do not feed the wildlife.

Please note that the upstairs apartment has a kitchenette including bar sized fridge, microwave, electric frypan and large toasted sandwich maker however no stove, oven or dishwasher. There are many cafes, restaurants in short walking distance.

Please note the cottage is not suitable for children due to unfenced creek and spiky cactuses etc. If you are bringing your baby, please note there are no ammenities for babies.

Thank you for closing the gates behind you as you come and go as we have a very friendly new cavoodle puppy called Murray.
