Our Old Brick Pub is a 1870's renovation, perfectly suited for 4 guests loving to explore and experience an early pioneer stay with country charm.
Located in the Hilltops Region, Young NSW a destination famous for its cherry orchards and delicious cool climate wines. Wander the Gold Trail and explore the old diggings.

The space
Nestled in the heart of Young NSW, The Old Brick Pub stands as living history of a time long past. Yet, its crumbling walls tell the story of gold rush, miners tales and bushranger days. Built in 1871 by Charles Johnson aged just 29 years. In 1874 a Publican's license was granted for the house near the bridge over Garibaldi Gully to be called the Burangong Hotel.

It stands proud. Rebirthed. A labour of love and devotion to the glory of this granite rock formation, a family affair.

A couples retreat perfect for 2 guests providing a chance to step back in time. Immerse yourself in the character and charm of years long ago.

Our intention is to surprise and delight you with an experience of days long ago, a place to slow, to get lost in your imagination and ponder what was.

Guest access
Parking is an open granite area inside the farm gates. You will have to drive over a pedestrian walking path to enter the property be sure to watch for adults and children, they have right of way on this path.

Other things to note
Minimally decorated blending old vintage and new pieces with charm. Fall effortlessly into your lush king bed, the rooms dimly lit with lanterns and period lighting. Heritage brass and timber ceiling fans.

Conversations around the fireplace, curl up with a book, we invite you to disconnect and slow down without the distraction of the TV and modern day technology, we have a record player and a variety of LP's, games, books, magazines and cards or simply immerse yourself in nature. Wander around garden enjoy the birds song and watch the rabbits scurry around the bush rocks.

Walk the path and explore our local community, discover delicious local wine and fresh produce served in our cafes, browse our beautiful boutiques and if you feel like driving around the Old Brick Pub is a perfect base to access the Hilltops local towns and attractions.

All bedding is provided, 100% pure linen or 100% Australian cotton, Australian Woollen blankets and Doona, including 100% cotton towels.

Luxurious shower wash is provided so you feel amazing standing under our handcrafted copper showerhead. You will find hand wash close to our upcycled twin concrete tub and gold gild mirror.

Our beautiful kitchen provides essentials for creating delicious chatter platters, hearty breakfasts or home cooked meals.
Pantry staples include local Coffee, tea, Olive oil, jam or honey

We have horses and alpacas in paddocks on our property, we have electric fencing. Please do not open any gates to our paddocks. Please don't offer them food.

A taste of the Hilltops welcome treats will be left for you to enjoy.
