Middle of nowhere - This home has 3 suites. 7km South of Golden. We love this special place of the world - Nicolson, BC. It's a 'locals' village! Most people live here for the beauty and access to nature and quiet! Enjoy hiking/skiing in the 5 nearby National Parks (or out the door), and summer floats down the Columbia River are spectacular.

The space
The building is funny. It's like a double wide mobile home ... renovated and built around! The stairs to the upper loft space is neat, the bed is low. There are three separate suites joined by walls. It feels private. The Side Suite under the car port is also rented as a short term rental. A long term tenant and lives at the back suite. Of course all suites have their own entrances, kitchens and bathroom, with sitting areas outside.

We have spent $2000 on soundproofing the suite (which did not really work), unfortunately noise can be an issue at times. Knock on the wall to remind attached neighbour if bothersome. Bring Ear Plugs just in case!!! (With this warning, we almost never hear of any issues/complaints.)

Guest access
You'll have the entire apartment to yourself. You may share the yard, and the barbeque.

Other things to note
We spent $2000 trying to sound proof our suite next door (which is also an AirBnB when we aren't there. It didn't work!) . You may hear your adjoining neighbour wall neighbour! They've been warned as well. Knock politely! :-)
