Moel y Don is a beautiful waterfront cottage set right on the edge of the Menai Strait Wake up to the sound of the water, enjoy quiet evenings under big skies, and feel completely immersed in nature.

Perfectly positioned just minutes from sandy beaches and on the coastal path. We’re only 5 minutes from the A55 making Moel y Don an ideal base for exploring the very best of Anglesey & Eryri

The space
From the cottage you can sit and watch the beautiful wildlife of Anglesey, trundle down to go crabbing on the dock, pick up a Paddleboard or go for a hike on the coastal path and walk on the stunning sandbar at low tide.

You have a large living room with huge window looking out onto the Menai Straits and a cosy log fire. The brand new kitchen is spacious and well stocked including, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, oven and electric hob. Upstairs the bathroom is large with a bath and seperate shower. The master bedroom has a king size bed and two singles and the second bedroom.

Guest access
Nicki and her family live next door and have access to along the front drive. You have a private parking space up and to the side of the cottage. The garden and ponds at the front are free for you to use.

Other things to note
Wifi is included in the price. We provide codes for access.

One well behaved small/ medium size dog at an extra fee of £30. If you are bringing your pet along please bring your own dog bed/blankets etc to respect and protect the furniture.

Please do not allow your dog into the bedrooms.

Neighborhood highlights

We are located on the coastal path so you can walk from the door. There is some great fishing to be had on the Menai Straits and fantastic bird watching. The cottage sits right on the waters' edge at the bottom of a quiet lane (not along a car-breaking track like many cottages in this area). When the tide is in there is plenty of calm, safe water for a play in a kayak or paddle board. Low tide exposes a beautiful beach, great for a run around with the dog.
We have many great eateries and pubs within a couple of miles... Menai Bridge holds more Michelin Stars than Manchester!

I'm Nicki! In my old life I roamed the oceans as a yachtswoman. When Tom and I came ashore to start a family we chose Anglesey as we love having the mountains and beach only minutes apart. We live right next door so I'll pop around to make sure you benefit from local knowledge on things like where to eat, or to find places that calm the soul or do things that electrify it!
