The space

Nearly 200 m2 on 3 floors comprising 4 bedrooms, a cozy living area with a wood stove, an equipped kitchen, a relaxation room with sauna, a cellar equipped for bathing in a Jacuzzi, 4 private bathrooms.
Built in 1890, the exposed stone interior walls keep things cool when it's hot or maintain the stove's temperature during harsh winters.
A large barn is available to store your motorcycles or bicycles during your stay...

From Paris (A6 – Autoroute du Soleil)
• Take exit 22 of the A6.
• Continue for about 45 km on departmental roads through: Quarré-les-Tombes → Montsauche → Planchez.
• 5 km before Lavault-de-Fretoy, your destination will be on the left.

We recommend that you browse this last section of the day to enjoy the beautiful hilly landscapes of the Morvan.
From Avallon: Avallon → Coussy-les-Forges → Quarré-les-Tombes → Montsauche → Planchez → Lavault-de-Fretoy.
Cross the village towards Gien-sur-Cure and, at the exit, the farmhouse is on the left.
From Lyon (via the wine route)
• From Lyon, you can take the wine route via Mâcon.
• Stop in Autun, a Roman and medieval city: cathedral, Roman theater, short lunch break in the cathedral square.
• Take the D978 towards Château-Chinon.
• Cross the hamlet of La Celle-en-Morvan, then turn right onto the D2 towards Anost (beautiful winding road along the Charloire river).
• At La Petite Verrière, stop for a drink at the mill or to taste fresh trout.
• After Anost, take the D17 towards Lac des Settons.
• At the Huis Prunel intersection, turn left towards Lavault-de-Fretoy.
• Upon arrival, our farmhouse is located on the right, at the bottom of the descent.

Outdoor equipment
• Outdoor lighting: turn off with the switch in the upper right-hand corner of the front door.
• Parking: on the gravel inside, along the outside wall or in front of the barn and barn doors.
• Compost: behind the house, north side.
• Outdoor furniture: in the garden shed (last door on the left facade) – 20 wooden/metal chairs, 4 deck chairs, 6/8-seater table, charcoal barbecue.
• Charcoal: a free bag; please replace it after use for the next guests.
Heating & stove
• Wood stove: to light it, leave the bottom door open, then gradually close it by acting on the shutters on the front.
• Wood: a first quantity offered; €50 for a supplement.
• Heating & hot water: provided by a latest-generation heat pump.
Kitchen
• Raclette & fondue: low cupboard under the window of the master bedroom.
• Gas cooktops: a spare bottle available in the cellar under the kitchen.
Toilets
• Septic tank: do not flush anything other than toilet paper.
Relaxation area: sauna & jacuzzi
• Jacuzzi (located in the cellar):
• For bubbles: tap Bubble.
• Leave at 38°C during use.
• If you no longer use it during your stay, lower the temperature to 20°C with the arrows.
• Cleanliness: please ensure the hygiene of the water.
• Lights & sound: on the barrel, a speaker in a waterproof transparent case (open after use to let dry and remove a battery).
