The space
The Guest Wing sleeps 2 and is a new house addition designed by Architect Dawn Burns of Lakeview Designs. It is attached to the south of the original house plan and includes a private adjoining breezeway (foyer). Enter through the foyer which is dedicated space for the guest wing

In 2016 we purchased 10 acres of mountaintop view property on the mountain (East) above the City of Penticton as a weekend getaway from our home on Vancouver's North Shore Not long after, we couldn't resist being here full-time! I was born in Vancouver and lived there most of my life. Darren was raised on a farm (cattle/grain) in Saskatchewan and moved to Vancouver shortly after high school. My background is in Tourism & Marketing working in Vancouver for Whistler Blackcomb We traded running on the Ambleside & Stanley Park seawalls for the Kettle Valley Railway (KVR) trails. Leaving behind the lower mainland's rainy weather in exchange for long hot summers and cozy snowy winters in BC's Wine Country We miss skiing/snowboarding at Whistler but LOVE 'Champagne Powder' at Apex Mountain Resort just 43 km from Grinch Ranch Penticton is a fast-growing, wine-focused urban community and it often reminds us of Napa Valley. Wine touring in the Okanagan Valley is our regular social activity With family roots in Santa Barbara CA, we wanted to add a hint of Santa Barbara Wine Country's relaxed feel into our custom-built guest wing.
