Have fun with the whole family at our unique 180yr old farm house. Not only do you have the entire house you also get access to the gardens, a communal roofed BBQ area and an authentic Irish lounge room with a roaring open fire. A real Irish country experience!

Glack House is looking up at a beautiful hillside covered in pine forest & views of Lough Swilly in front. Inch Island is a Wildlife Sanctuary and a hidden gem right between Derry & Buncrana with one road on and off the Island.

The space
Perfect for nature enthusiasts and also travelers wanting a unique true Irish experience. Inch Island is off the beaten path for most but also close to the city of Derry & the town of Buncrana so you're not far from the hustle if you want to scoot out for some history, fish & chips and a pint at the Pub!

We have transformed this 200 year old farm house into a cozy, country getaway for those who love something different. This is our home, and we're happy to share it with folks who appreciate staying somewhere that has housed so much love! You won't find sterile, Ikea style here - but rather a fun eclectic mix of travel, music and life in all of our furnishings and decor. There are some quirks due to it being so historical, but that's part of the charm and adventure.

*There is a road connecting Inch Island & the mainland - NO FERRY NEEDED. The road takes about 30 seconds to cross driving.

INSIDE ~

Downstairs:
Full Kitchen with oven/ Fridge/ Freezer & 6 top gas stove
Table that seats 8 with a breakfast island
Living room - Log stove & large couch (we do not have a TV!)
Utility room with toilet and sink

Upstairs:
Bedrooms
1 - 1 single and set of single bunkbeds with courtyard and forest view
2 - Double bed with ocean and garden view
3 - Super King Bed with ocean & garden view
4 - Double bed room with courtyard view
Bathroom with full bath and electric shower

OUTSIDE ~
Huge front deck
Over 1 acre of gardens to enjoy

The Sitting Room: Like you've stepped back in time, our sitting room is made out of an old horse stable. Huge wood burning fireplace and board games. Come snuggle in here on a cold evening with a glass of red and spin some records. We do not provide or sell drinks.

Outdoor Living Room: Out the back, through the sitting room you'll find a covered wooden deck with wood burning stove, overlooking the fields. We do have a coal burning BBQ. Please bring your own coal.

PARKING: Parking is available on the property. Through the gate to the house on the right hand side, please park nose in towards the trees.

Please note, this is a country house. Floors might creek. Spiders and other insects might try to come and share your space. This is normal for country living :)

Glack House is set in the middle of beautiful Inch Island on the Wild Atlantic Way in Co.Donegal. Inch Has a 7km paved walk in the middle of the wild fowl reserve around Inch lake which is full of Sea trout & Salmon. Multiple beaches with safe swimming waters and a harbor. Its 20mins from Derry City which is packed with bars, restaurants and history. Also 15 mins from the beautiful town of Buncrana.
