The space

Bubble Puerto Rico is the perfect place for travelers, nature lovers, meditation, couples, backpackers and everyone who wants to enjoy a unique experience. Bubble Puerto Rico offers you a private space, an escape that allows you to communicate with nature, enjoy the stars, the singing of the cochi, river and spectacular views of trees and mountains.
Imagine sleeping in a bubble room, bathe in the open air surrounded by nature, take a dip in the river, enjoy the private pool with hot water in the evenings enjoying the moon, the stars and during the day sunbathing overlooking the river. Definitely the place and the experience you're really looking forward to!
The space
In the bubble room you will find a “Queen” size bed with curtains in case you want more privacy. You will also find AC. The bubble features fresh air 24/7, a silent compressor is on all the time to supply fresh air during your stay. The natural temperature is very good, we always experience 10 degrees less (approx.) than in the city, you can experience cold or comfortable temperature depending on the season of the year. In the surroundings you will enjoy a completely private pool with a heater and a breathtaking view of the river, outdoor kitchen with basic utensils (coffee maker, Puerto Rican coffee, sugar, small fridge, a 2-burner electric stove, plates, cutlery and some basic pots or pan if you want to prepare some simple food. Bathroom and shower around nature (outdoor) with view and sound to the river. We are located in a mountainous and humid area (this will result in “moss” on the property) of Ponce. During your stay, you may experience rain (if it rains during your stay, it is normal to have some seepage due to the way the bubble is made, as it has seams), cool and pleasant temperatures, and it may also be cold. We recommend bringing a jacket for the evenings and comfortable shoes.

Privacy for us is important, that's why we have designed a space around the unique nature.
On our property we are bordered by a river, although we have not experienced high floods, it is important to let you know that the rains depend and the season can have river floods, and when it rains a lot can reflect murky water. We suggest to use caution.
Do you know a spider can make a new net in less than 1 hour? Our cleaning standards are high, and we give it the required maintenance, but that does not stop some insects, “bugs” mosquitos, web, toads, on rare occasions you can also see some small Puerto Rican snakes, mice and others. Please consider if it will affect your stay and consider another type of experience. We are in the countryside and this is just nature! Enjoy it! We kindly ask that they help us keep the kitchen area clean, and put the waste in the rubbish. That way we don't attract other types of animals.
We currently experience good signal and internet coverage. It's based on your mobile company. We don't provide WiFi service. Although we recommend that you be prepared in case you do not have a sign, so you disconnect and enjoy the experience and adventure of nature.
This space allows a maximum of 2 people, must be of legal age, guests are not allowed, parties, no sounds, music amplified, no pets.
OTHER IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
The river that borders our property is clean. You can immerse yourself and bathe in some ponds that the river itself provides. We recommend caution and caution for floods and rains. You will be able to observe incredible animal species, turtles, lizards, butterflies, birds, sometimes you hear Puerto Rican parrots. Around you can see exotic flowers, several matas de guineos, some fruit trees.
The view since you enter our property is magical. From our experience, in Bubble Puerto Rico, you can find a hugely inspiring environment for your writing, reading, music, to spend quality time with your partner, to spend time alone. A magical place of art, peace, and inspiring.
- caution with high river floods. It is the guest’s responsibility to stay informed about weather conditions and to avoid using the river at all costs on days of warnings and/or rainfall.
- Use the pool at your own risk. There is no lifeguard.
- Our space is surrounded by maguey and pomarrosa flowering trees. Both trees in different seasons of the year produce a type of seed that can be mistaken for animal excreta. It can be seen on chairs, countertops, in the kitchen, and on the floor.
- If you use the river and want to use the pool, please shower before using the pool, as the combination of different types of water can make the pool water cloudy.
- Our location is well humid as it is surrounded by mountains and facing a river. You should be aware that you have to go down stairs once you get to the place. To leave clothes at night in the weather the other day your clothes will be wet. Also the humidity will create silo/moss around the whole property and bubble is completely normal
- The bubble is manufactured and joined by seams and zipper. It is completely normal for water to seep into the bubble on rainy days, wetting some areas. We recommend not leaving items on the floor that cannot get wet. Please keep the zipper closed at all times. Zíper closed at all times, close the zíper with care, do not close the zíper tightly, do not try not to close, or hale. From the zíper not closing we contact to assist you. If we break the ziper we will have to contact a technician specialized in these materials and the cost to fix it is $500.00 USD that you as a guest must pay for them.
- The bubble is completely transparent, so the sun’s rays directly enter the bubble. During the day, you may experience heat inside the bubble.
- No electricity receptacles inside the bubble
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the bubble. If, at the time of your check-out, our cleaning team detects the smell of cigarettes, cigars, or any other tobacco product, a $250 fee will be charged.
Guests not allowed. The place is STRICTLY for the 2 guests (of legal age) who book.
If you want to change the date you must be notified with a minimum of three weeks of your booked date. Only one (1) date change will be accepted. If you make the change of date and the nightly rate of the new date is lower, it will be adjusted to the initial date. This change of date must be in the same month of the reservation or up to a maximum of 30 days from the original reservation.
We have a basic kitchen, feel comfortable bringing what you want to eat. We provide coffee and greca so you can prepare and enjoy your rich coffee.
