Our house, a recently renovated very old building, is located in the medieval village of Bormes les Mimosas on a small square, place du Bazar. Here begins the historic center with its streets and stairs. It is known for its beautiful botanical plants, flowers and shops. It is an attractive environment due to: nature, many well-known but also quieter beaches, towns and villages.
The very authentic and beautifully renovated cottage has been, among other things, a chapel, toll house and farrier's shop.

The space
Above street level is the terrace with garden set. The front and back doors can be closed with shutters. Through the front door you enter the living room downstairs with kitchen, dining bar and 2 sofas/sofa beds less suitable for adults.
In the kitchen: stove with oven and microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and refrigerator. Via the stairs you reach the floor with bedroom with large double bed/bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Another staircase up and you reach a terrace that is a street/staircase higher via the back door.

Terrace with table, chairs, and parasols, living room/kitchen, upstairs bedroom with toilet, shower and sink, upstairs exit with terrace and clotheslines for your beach towels.

Other things to note
The sofa beds are less suitable for adults.

Lives in Brouwershaven, Netherlands
We live in one of the most beautiful places in the Netherlands, namely on Schouwen Duiveland, in Zeeland. For 10 years, we lived in the windmill of Brouwershaven and then moved to our house on the Nieuwe Haven. Our other favorite place is the medieval Bormes-les-Mimosas in southern France, where we have two small vacation homes. We rent out one of these houses. We offer our house in Zeeland as a vacation home in the summer months.
