Neighborhood highlights

Grez-sur-Loing is a picturesque small village particularly well located, less than an hour from Paris (accessible by transport).
Becoming a tourist today for its proximity to the Forêt de Fontainebleau (Climbing, hiking, mountain biking, trail running, ...) and for the pleasant moments spent discovering the Loing by canoe, paddleboarding, swimming; there is still a most pleasant place in any season!

With a rich history, an important medieval square in the 12th century, burned down during the 100-year war, there remains today only the Old Town, the ruin of the Tour-de-Ganne, both inscribed in the buildings of France, as well as the church and some vaulted cellars of Old Bourg.

From the 18th to the 20th Century, the village is experiencing a new boom with the birth of an artistic movement, international, drawing in its center colonies of Swedish, Japanese, British, American, French and other painters, in search of a particular light, specific to the banks of the Loing.

You will find a few small shops in the village to enhance your stay:
- a bakery
- a grocery store
- a cafe/restaurant
- an associative cafe with board games
- a small local market, on Sundays, next to the church
- a hairdresser
- a small post office
- a pharmacy
- a doctor
- a naturopath
- a nurse

In addition, we can also offer you additional services through our various entities:
Sale of local products, craft beers, climbing equipment,
Rental of:
- Crash-pads
- Mountain biking
- Cycling
