Family-friendly vacation rentals in Gunzenhausen

Lovely airbnb in a nice quiet side street. Located close to a Lidl and a great beer garden with accompanying German restaurant. We loved the hot tub and amazing decoration and had a really pleasant stay!

With our daughters of 2 and 5 years old, we stayed five wonderful days in the holiday home. The house has all the comforts and the separate game room loved the kids. The garden is truly gigantic and completely private. The jacuzzi, sauna and ping pong table complete it. Christian and Martina are great hosts and always easily accessible. Finally, the surroundings are beautiful and I can say that Bavaria has stolen our heart. We will definitely be happy to come back!

We stayed in Christina's pretty cottage for a week, together with our 1 year old daughter and our dog. The house was super equipped and totally clean, cozily furnished and could be heated well, which was important with the fluctuating outside temperatures during our time there. Only the stairwell was quite cool, but this only stood out when changing floors. The surroundings are perfect if you like to be in nature and prefer tranquility like us. There are fantastic routes for walking and the paths are also for the most part great accessible with the stroller, which was great for us. The garden is also very nice, but there is no separation from the neighbor, who has a dog and horses. No problem for us, but it's important to know for one or the other. In addition to nature, the proximity to cities such as Heidenheim and Ulm also invites you to small excursions by car. Christina was a great host and greeted us by phone upon arrival.

Dario’s accommodation was perfect for the three of us and covered all of our needs. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Nuremberg and Munich, with a very accessible public transport system. As a host, we could not have asked for someone better than Dario. We had so many questions about the area, all of which he answered brilliantly. He provided travel recommendations and went above and beyond to ensure that we were equipped with all of the knowledge we needed to enjoy our stay. Fürth itself is gorgeous and well worth spending a day visiting. There is no kitchen (which is clearly mentioned on the listing) and whilst a plug-in hob ring might be useful, we found that we were able to manage with just the microwave and kettle - we ate at the Christmas markets, as these were the highlights of the trip! The rooms are warm, and the shutters on the windows blacked out the rooms completely - which was amazing! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! Thank you Dario! 😄

Great central location, and plenty of room for a big group. Everything you need for your stay included too! Plus nice and friendly hoast too! Would definitely stay again!

I have family in the Dollnstein area that we visited for 3 weeks in July 2024. We stayed at this property and fell in love with the village. The rental property itself is nice and spacious. There were 4 adults and 1 child who stayed at the property and there was plenty of room for us all. If we needed anything, Roland was very responsive and the property manager came right away. The kitchen is a highlight-it's huge with a full-size refrigerator. It is also convenient to have a washer on site for clothes. My only recommendations would be stronger wifi throughout the home (it's spotty in some areas) and clear directions on how to use appliances and tv (there was a learning curve with those at times). Overall, the village the place is located in is a true highlight. There is a quaint soccer park/playground area that my son and I visited daily. The villagers were kind and curious about us Americans but not in a rude way. We felt safe and happy the entire stay.

What a great place! It is so relaxing and felt at home. The location was a short drive to Rothenburg. The host was great in communication and the house had plenty of amenities. We will pass this location on to others as it was perfect for our stay. It was kid friendly as well and we lived the pond with the fish! We hope to visit them again soon.

we were very satisfied. I booked the space for a family weekend We have a one-year-old with us. There were a lot of toys in the apartment, behind the house a large garden with a fleet for the little ones, slide, balls, gates, shovels - everything a child's heart desires. The apartment is large, the bedrooms are upstairs. Everything is fine. Kitchen is nice and large, a nice fireplace is also available, which provides cozy warmth. The owners live downstairs and are very helpful. We enjoyed it very much, we felt very much at home. It's very quiet. Parking right outside the door. 25 km to Rothenburg ob der Tauber and 16 km to the outdoor museum Bad Windsheim. Highly recommend accommodation for families.

We had a short stay but can absolutely recommend it. Bernd and Paulina are incredibly nice and accommodating. The apartment is super nice and tidy The kids had an area to play. We enjoyed it!

Location on the outskirts of Nuremberg, 15 minutes walk to DB stop, bus stop under the house, very communicative and nice host, parking on the street, but after the conversation we could leave the car next to the house. Have a great stay. Thank you

We stayed in Andreas's apartment with 2 children and had a great time. Apartment with everything you need from the high chair to the lounger and fasciatorio. There are even games available. Kitchen complete with utensils and appliances. Spacious and warm bathroom. Convenient to reach the Playmobil Funpark but also to visit Nuremberg. Definitely recommend to other families.

The contact with Eva is quick, clear and straightforward. Apartment is cozy and very clean. The view is fantastic and invites you to hike and walk. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen very well equipped, especially the spice selection impressed us. We've never found this before. We also liked the idea with the small snack/bar in the kitchen - at reasonable prices (small obulus). Storage space for clothes, shoes and jackets were well thought out and sufficiently available. What is not always available in a smaller space. Nice war. Thanks!

It was a quiet and peaceful house in terms of location. One of the rare places with no parking problems, thank you to the host for everything.

There were three of us in this beautiful apartment with maritime flair. In the main bathroom and dining/living room you can accommodate large families, so large they are cut. With short Youtube instructions, the coffee maker makes excellent coffee :). So we felt very comfortable. Best regards from Cologne!

If you have a vehicle, enjoy a fireplace, and want some solitude.. this is the spot. Easy drive to other villages..easy access to a3. If you need anything the hosts answer so quickly.

Very nice place to stay, I would definitely come again. Hopefully the COVID restrictions will be lifted soon and the swim area can be used by multiple families again, it would be a great place to hang out in the evenings for some social gatherings.

We are two American couples who stayed three nights in Nürnberg. Our hosts Heidi and Herbert were so friendly, helpful and discrete that our accommodations immediately felt completely like home and this WAS really home away from home. Various food items waited for us upon arrival. The kitchen and bathroom were equipped with every imaginable thing we could think of plus extra stuff. The bedroom welcomed us with fluffy bathrobes and cosy pictures on the walls. These were not just excellent accommodations but exceptional accommodations prepared for us with kindness and love. Very great and lovingly managed and thoughtful complex: four of us had the AC apartment ( enough space with a balcony, everything you need and very clean). The outdoor area is great for children and adults: natural pool ( nice and big) , playground and possibility to grill and the location on the small lake is really nice. Everything, really everything is perfect. Very nice apartment, very well furnished, everything you need is available. The surroundings on the edge of the forest are beautiful and quiet. Can only recommend.
