Dragon Inn Nikko is a great place to stay as it is just about 10 minutes walk from the Tobu-toju station. She gave us a voucher to use at the next door restaurant and my husband fell in love with their steak that we went back the second time before leaving for Tokyo. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Nikko. She even provided a locker to use when we checked out so we can continue with our sight seeing before heading back to Tokyo. Great deal.

A really nice apartment, very well maintained and clean. Looks just like in the pictures. It is only a short walking distance from the Main Street with plenty of cafes and restaurants. The kitchen and dining area were great to do your own cooking. Very comfortable beds. The hosts always responded within minutes with recommendations and helpful advice. Great stay!

It’s my second time staying at the Nozawa Gondola Apartments. Different room this time but just as wonderful as before. Clean nicely designed house, well equipped kitchen, and can’t ask for a better location if you’re headed for the slopes!

Outstanding accommodation. Everything had a luxury appearance and feel. Luke is an superb host with great attention to detail. The home is cozy with excellent views of the mountains.

the apartment is close to the station and everything else in town too. There is a supermarket a few minutes away. We loved having a place to ourselves with all the amenities of home.

Location was amazing! On a quiet street right in the center of town with all the restaurants, shops, and bars. It’s a quick walk (uphill) to the slopes. Plenty of space for 2 with a small kitchenette and a comfy queen bed. Highly recommend!

I used it for my snowboard trip. The location is good because it is close to the slopes, and above all, the room is beautiful and spacious! I definitely want to.

The place is easy to find and cozy. There are winter blankets during the very low temperature. The bathroom is a little small. The amenities are well-equipped. The heater smells a little too much oil. Overall, it's very good. It has privacy. Close to tourist attractions.

I was able to do what I wanted to do in a calm and quiet environment. I will stay there again.

Lodge set up well for a group of 4, including practical furniture, amenities, heating, lighting, ventillation and decor. Homely feel with excellent access to village.

We will try to come back in the winter! We had a great time there during the green season. Everything at the bakery is amazing. Lots to do in the area.

LOVED THE STAY!! They allow dogs which is great and the rooms are very spacious. I love sleeping on Japanese Futons (Though people who like soft beds might not) It is in a good location for both skiing and night life. Nozawa Village is hard to get around with steep hills and narrow snowy streets but once you are checked into the stay you are set! They have a dry room but it is very small which is quite normal for Nozawa. The service was top notch and they bent over backwards to accomodate our every need. VERY MUCH RECOMMENDED!!!

Had an amazing stay, would recommend! So close to the ski fields and on the edge of the heart of the town - a perfect holiday spot!

Great place, great location, and staff is super accommodating. The gondola is 15 meters from the place and there are 3 ski-shops for rentals 20 meters from the Airbnb. Would highly recommend if you don’t mind a 5 minute walk into the town for restaurants and bars. Address Nozawa has their own private Onsen that allows co-ed entry. I would love to stay here again ! Great deal! P.S. be sure to check out GuruGuru bar, they have great staff and affordable drinks!

What a little gem of a two-bedroom two-bathroom apartment! Perfectly functional, spotlessly clean. I was impressed with how well the cozy master bathroom functioned despite limited space. The kids loved their bunk beds. The kitchen had everything we needed to make coffee and breakfast. The instructions were very helpful: this was our first experience with the Japanese recycling system and the clear instructions made it fun and easy to follow all the rules. The moving walkway (the Yu Road) that takes you directly to the slopes was just a few minutes' walk away. Perfectly walkable to the very center of town and its many charming stores and restaurants as well. The host was very responsive whenever I sent him questions. Overall, the perfect Airbnb experience, which helped make our stay in Nozawa Onsen fun and memorable.
