Family-friendly vacation rentals in Guildford

Miranda's cottage is very well situated and set up for doing as we did - enjoying the local area, taking advantage of hot summer days by the pool, and walking in the woods with kids. Highly recommended for families of 4 or even more if you're prepared to really use the space. My kids were very happy sleeping in the twin beds, and we were able to use every inch of the place.

Although the entrance from the street is a bit old looking, once the apartment door is opened, one realizes what a wonderful spot it is. There were all the amenities I needed, the bed and couch were quite comfortable. It was a great walk to my office across the river. (and of course, Battersea park is very closeby). The host was very responsive to my questions. I hope the apartment is available the next time I am in London!

If you are looking for a home from home or an upgrade from home, this is the place to stay. Arrived from Melbourne and immediately settled into the joy of living in the countryside. Although too cold to enjoy the pool, we did use the tennis court and shot some hoops. We walked to Old Thorns Golf and Country Club and can recommend Katie's Coffee bar. It's an easy walk amongst stunning scenery. We walked back via the Foley Estate from the Deers Hut pub. Liphook is so lucky to have not one but two stunningly beautiful golf courses. If their is a heaven on earth, we must have stayed in its guest house!

The barn is beautiful and very well fitted out. Fabulous setting, absolutely stunning and super peaceful and quiet. The one bathroom was challenging at times with a party of adults but the rest of the barn is faultless and such a joy to stay in. The tennis court and other amenities were fabulous.

For my first holiday away with my 2 beautiful children I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better stay. The cottage is beautiful, the gardens and surrounding grounds are stunning, simply a lovely place to be. We spent a lot of time in the cottage and use if the new fire pit in the evenings as it was so peaceful and relaxing. 2 main attractions for us were Pooh Corner with Ashdown Forrest for all your Winnie the Pooh adventures, and Hever Castle which is a lovely day out. Tennis courts and a lovely pool to boot ❤️❤️❤️ Caroline left some beautiful touches, some Easter treats for my children and a host of food and fresh juice, lovely 😍❤️

My family had a wonderful stay during Easter holidays. Everything about our stay was very easy due to Helen’s fantastic instructions and online guide. We all loved using the pool, it was clean and warm. Sharing the pool with the other holiday let was no bother as the pool was plenty big enough for everyone. The village and setting itself is beautiful and so close to many amenities. The children have already asked to come back!!

Tara is such a wonderful and lovely host. Her place is 10/10. Super cozy and clean with fabulous jacuzzi🥰🥰🥰🥰 will deffo come back again xx

We had a lovely stay, the little house was clean, cosy and warm, everything you need, we explored the area for walks. We walked to the local pub , The Fox Inn they where very friendly the food was nice. We went to the Parrot at Forest Green for a Sunday Roast which was great. Horsham is near if you fancy a potter around the shops and pick up some bits. Guildford was 30 minutes away also another lovely day there too. Thank you we enjoyed our visit.

We had an amazing stay here! The house was beautiful, clean, and super comfortable. Mr. Rob was really responsive and helpful. There was an issue with a false carbon monoxide alarm, but he handled it quickly and even got a friend to come check things out. The bus stop is just 2 minutes away, and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again if we visit the UK in the future!

Sparkling place in leafy Chiswick, London. We visit Lon to see family and the location and accommodations were just what we needed. Walking distance from restaurants (super food and cocktails at The Little Bird down the street, Chiswick cafe in Chiswick gardens, Thai ..). The co-op grocery convenient store was also next door with provisions. We took the SW train to downtown (also across the street), the E3 bus is a few yards away that takes one to the tube. The Thames river path is also a 20 min walk through the many paths Thanks to Robert for hosting us at this great place to stay - and look forward to returning soon.

This was the perfect house for a family weekend together. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We were lucky enough to have fantastic weather and enjoyed the comfortable garden furniture. The garden was safe for my toddler grand daughter. When we wanted to go out it was an easy walk to the Hove cafes etc and to the beach. We had a really relaxing time and would love to come again.

I booked France's place for my family to stay over for a week to enjoy London and Sydenham (3 adults). I initially chose her place due to great reviews, good pictures and being close by to where I live - What a fantastic choice! The flat is at a convenient location from the Sydenham station as well as close to local restaurants and shops without being located on a busy road. The bedrooms are spacious and at the back of the house for privacy and peace, which is a huge plus with people waking up at different times a day etc. The overall space and layout is great and functional. The livingroom is absolutely beautiful with big windows, which was something my family enjoyed a lot. Would definitely book again!

Our family enjoyed our stay immensely at Felicity's home. The layout is terrific for a group with a central gathering area and privacy in the bedrooms. Floor to ceiling windows look out to the gorgeous back yard. My only regret is that we visited in the winter and weren't able to enjoy the secluded yard. The kitchen is well designed and well stocked for a serious cook. The furnishings and artwork give a feeling of individuality and warmth to the home. We were able to call taxis and ubers easily and the tube was a ten minute walk away. We managed to see all kinds of attractions during our stay after which we could retreat to the quiet and relaxing home. Felicity was always available to address any concerns and also regularly checked on our welfare. Upon arrival, we were greeting by a relative who showed us the place and gave advice for our stay. Anyone is lucky to stay at such a fabulous home!

Sally and Josh have been welcoming and amazing hosts. We arrived late and they had stocked the fridge up with bread, milk and eggs which was so thoughtful. The annexe was ideal for my family, countryside surroundings and short drive to Godalming and getting onto the motorway. The house has a lovely, cosy feel, I enjoyed cooking as the kitchen was well equipped. A very comfortable and happy stay and will be staying again soon! Thank you both!

Had a lovely Easter break, George welcomed us to his lovely property, great location few minutes walk to the beach and shops, with the benefit of a quiet residential area. The property was just like the pictures, the enclosed garden with a hot tub was a real highlight for all three generations, together with ground floor bedrooms. George was quick to respond and provide help when needed.

Great comfy stay for me and my friends. Last minute booking but Sarah, the host, was responsive and very helpful/detailed in her instructions. Place was clean and very spacious with all the modern facilities, big comfy beds and enough to keep large families happy and entertained. Hot tub was great bonus too. We did bbqs and cooked every night. Waking up to the Nespresso was great too. Area is a quiet haven and the big supermarkets are a short drive away. Bungalows in the drive to make it look like a scene out of neighbours! Will hope to visit again soon.

Really enjoyed our stay at Andy and Rosie's. The house is in a great location and we really enjoyed having the large field out front to play games in. Andy was very responsive to any questions and gave se great eating out recommendations. Highly recommend this accommodation.
