The house was perfect and the views spectacular! Amazed by the number of stars you can see at night. To top that off, the yoghurt made by Federico (and his goat of course) is something else: very tasteful! To sum it all up: a great and friendly host and an even more terrific spot to enjoy your holidays.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Georgios and Maria’s stunning apartment in Agia Pelagia! The location is unbeatable—just steps from the beach. The apartment itself is beautifully designed, blending luxury with a boho-chic aesthetic that feels both inviting and serene.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation with fantastic hosts! The care and attention that has gone into making this home is obvious, and the view from the patio is gorgeous. The hosts welcomed us with more than we could have ever expected, genuine kindness, and great information about Crete. First class experience, and top-notch hosts. Recommended without any hesitation. Perfect.

Beautiful getaway! We loved this home. It is as described and more. The beach area is beautiful and full of restaurants bars and markets! Be mindful that during the winter a lot is closed (even if it says open on google maps). We didn’t mind at all since it just made for a more quiet and beautiful escape. We swam/snorkeled for hours, enjoyed the patio and sundeck upstairs. My favorite is that you can hear the waves crashing in bed. Would definitely stay again.

Located in the small village of Magarikari, the accommodation matches the photos offered on site. It is about twenty minutes from the beaches and also allows access to hikes. The village itself offers an open tavern on certain days and a small supermarket. Our host had planned the daily delivery of bread and very kindly offered us several bottles of wine from his own production, as well as a bottle of raki. Responsive and thoughtful, he was a quality host. More generally, this part of Crete allows access to soft tourism, far enough from crowded places to be away from crowds. Yet Heraklion remains close (1 hour) and the very popular village of Matala is easily accessible. For lovers of old stones (of which I am), Phaistos and Gortyne are also close. Enough to satisfy both body and mind. A real vacation what! Thanks again to Heike.

The villa is a wonderful place to relax end enjoy Cretaen nature and lifestyle. We found the house among olive trees and goatbells perfect for our holidays and to explore great gorges, the mountains and the south of Crete. Everything was prepared in the villa, nothing missed. The fridge was stuffed with useful things to survive the following days. Alexandra prepared dumplings for a welcome and a wonderful Mussaka after some days. The hosts were easily to contact at any time. We all enjoyed the place and can absolutely recommend it for everybody who wants to escape from busy big-city- life.

A place to relax, to heave pease of mind , to feel like a local , to makes you feel like home . Clean and tidy , have everything you will need . I will sure come back and I will always have this place in my mind as the place to escape from the real world and live another life . Really thank you and will see you again for sure !!!

We had a wonderful stay. The home is as shown and very well appointed. We lacked nothing. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and guided to the residence. A warm fresh baked cake, fruit, homemade olive oil, raki, chocolates were all waiting inside. A very welcoming and kind family. We loved the village. A friendly, beautiful horse roams freely and arrived at our doorstep on our first night. 😀. The local taverna is (olive) wood heated and a bustling hub for locals. The Greek coffee is excellent!
