We had a wonderful stay at Allison’s adorable shotgun house during the Eras tour weekend! I was there with my mother and sister, and it was the perfect size for us – cozy yet spacious enough for everyone to be comfortable. It was such a relief to find a place that wasn’t overpriced despite the busy weekend. The neighborhood felt very safe, and Allison provided clear, easy-to-follow instructions for check-in and check-out, which made everything super simple. Overall, we had a great time and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Highly recommend!

Alexis was super kind and responsive! Her home was super was the perfect home base while we explored NOLA. The neighborhood was quiet and full of great restaurants and bakeries, and we felt a part of the community. Would recommend Alexis's place to anyone looking for a cozy and attractive place to stay while visiting NOLA. (P.S. as other reviewers have mentioned the hot water in the shower can take a bit. We found that the trick is to turn the hot water on in the sink [left side] all the way on when you are heating up the shower. This must help the hot water reach the shower head quicker as the pressure is quite low. Once it's running hot, turn off the sink and enjoy your toasty shower!)

Loved our stay here! Super nice, quiet and convenient location. Everything was as described with clear instructions upon check in & out. The host was very responsive, nice & accommodating. I 100% would recommend this place and would stay here again.

This is a great apartment in New orleans. it is a big space with a decent kitchen and huge bathroom. It is in a quiet part of town but easy to get into the centre either on the tram or by uber. The apartment has everything you need and a very responsive host to any questions we had - thanks for a great stay!

Perfect, friendly host that communicated well and checked in often! Place was easy to check in with clear instructions and was very clean. It was in a safe and convenient location close to everything we wanted to do in New Orleans!

The bnb was perfect and we truly love Jim. He tipped us off to some good food and some good bicycle routes, but most importantly he is just good people and we felt right at home.

Overall this is a very great stay and we appreciate Miriam's work. I will recommend it for tourists, as long as you are not expecting a 5-star hotel-level experience for the stay. Pro: Legitimate 2 beds, in separate rooms !!! Host onsite, and super helpful !!! Not too far from the French Quarter and downtown, public transportation is available. Parking spot available. Wifi provided. Con (I feel like the impact of these is minimal but I believe letting guests know these ahead of time helps Miriam too, I don't care about almost everything here but if you do care you should find another place) Personal cleaning supplies like toothbrushes, paste, shavers, and shaving creams are not provided. (CVS is not far) Provided personal cleaning supplies are cheap. (same) Wifi not stable, and not suitable for WFH. The bed close to the entry can be noisy. (earplugs) The floor is a little bit old and bent. (who cares) Again, highly recommended in general but pls avoid it if you are picky.

Great spot and perfect location and Ernest was a gracious host. Definitely would recommend his spot to anyone traveling to the Big Easy!!

Great location within walking distance to city park, including its cafe du monde location … toups meatery, pandoras sno balls etc. Gorgeous shotgun home w outdoor space and satsuma trees, friendly helpful neighbors, quiet safe vibe Beds were comfy and there’s a washer dryer which was awesome— there’s a Rouse’s like less than a half mile away for grocery needs, the broadside for live music, short drive to the dome and the quarter if that’s more your speed but we loved the midcity area

Thanks Eric for great weekend! We had everything we needed. The garden is everything the pics depict. From watching the squirrels in the morning to the serenity of the pond at night. With your own staircase to the backyard. You wouldn’t realize you are in a big city. And look out for the comfy couch, you just spend the night on it!

Ryan’s place was just as described and better. It was perfect for a girls trip. Ryan sent us many recommendations which we used and they were all excellent. Easy to get around with Uber or the Street car. We walked the neighborhood with our coffee and felt very safe.

The AB&B listing was 100% accurate. Everything was well-explained and we didn't need any extra communication before or during our stay. The booking, check-in and check-out messages were all we needed and I appreciated the simplicity of the whole process. It was a good home-base for our 4 night stay in NOLA. Thanks!

cute place, private, good neighborhood

This is a fantastic place and I recommend it highly. This was the second time I have stayed there with members of my family, and it was a wonderful experience once again. The place is in a great location, it’s really comfortable and quiet, and it’s super clean. Stacy and Christian were extremely helpful and very responsive. I look forward to staying there again next time I’m in New Orleans.

quiet and private place to stay, close to the ferry

Our stay at Jannette's was flawless. If you like to walk, the neighborhood is enchanting. Restaurants are within walking distance and a nice grocery store is only a couple of blocks away. The amenities are great. We felt very comfortable and safe. Jannette loves her home and it shows. We will be staying with Jannette again.

Nice lil shotgun home. Neighborhood was quiet at night. Walking distance to a grocery store, the streetcar and a bowling alley. What more could you want?

My sister and I went to New Orleans to see Taylor swift and had the pleasure of staying at Bea’s place. It was so charming and secluded, yet walkable to everything we wanted to do or a short Uber. She was so responsive and we loved her place. Will definitely stay here again if it’s available when we go back!

The place was super clean when my friends and I walked in. If I ever come back to new orleans, I will definitely reserve this location again One thing to note, was the doors do not auto lock on its own. Will need to be careful if there are any other people staying in the units next to yours.

Fantastic, quiet mid-city home-base with a comfy bed. I got there a day late due to some travel issues but Ian was communicative the whole time. Strongly recommend both Up&Adam + Biscuits & Buns on Banks. I will definitely try to stay here again on future visits.

The main property was secluded behind a security door and the grounds and our residence were immaculate and matched the photos perfectly. We were a party of 14 and there was more than enough room for us to lounge, gather, and rest. It's in a pretty walkable location and street parking immediately outside the residence was ample. Most importantly, the host was exceptionally responsive both before and during the stay. I'd stay at The Syd again :)

Great place to stay! Brought my gf here for her birthday since she’s from New Orleans and she loved it! Definitely will be back!

Gigi is an amazing, thoughtful, and friendly host. The apartment was larger than we had expected and perfect for a small group of friends staying in the French Quarter. Gigi has great tips and was very responsive!
