Stayed for on site wedding. Room was nice and clean and staff was helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

I'm a repeat visitor at this hotel. Great stay - super clean and spacious room - staff was very friendly. Location makes it convenient to walk to the train station (quick, easy, safe) and driving to surrounding areas (i.e. USMMA). Parking available for free on street at night, but valet a great option if you plan on coming and going throughout the day. Only rec is to call after making AirBB reservation and confirm they have you down for a 2 BED guest room. More than once I've reserved through here and the reservation hits their front desk for a 1 KING bed. Likely it's just a backend setting they will get resolved, but just wanted to mention it!

This is actually in a boutique hotel. Heater was not working on arrival but did get fixed quickly. No complaints.

We Love The Box House! As a former NYC resident, it's not easy to find a spot that feels like home when returning to the city. Much less, a spot that feels nicer than home! This was my second stay at The Box House, and I don't think I'll be booking anywhere else for future trips back to the city. They are easily my #1 choice. The rooms are sparkling clean, beautiful, thoughtfully decorated, and have great views of the city. It's so lovely to come back to a hotel at the end of a long day, and to be taken care of by staff who truly care. I'm just as happy going out as I am staying in, which I think is the mark of a truly great place. Thank you, Box House Hotel! See you soon. :)

Cool place to stay in Harlem! Retro claw foot tub and bathroom sink. Interesting architecture, high ceilings, cool staircase. The room itself had a nice little radio. Downstairs is a parlor area with books and music playing. Easily accessible from subway. Close to the Apollo theater. Within walking distance to drug store, delis, shopping, plus street food. The brownstone is on a quiet street. I slept with the windows cracked open but shutters closed and it was quiet and dark. I met the host René. He was friendly and accommodating.

The place is in a quiet neighborhood and close to the river, we always returned around midnight and felt calm walking back. The rooms are clean and just like the photos. The metro station is a 10-minute walk away. A new jacket we had bought disappeared and no one took responsibility. If there is an event or party in the hotel, a lot of noise can be heard in the rooms. In general, it was a good place to stay and we had a window with an incredible view of the city.

This was my 2nd time staying here and the place is as described. Location is great ! I will definitely come back

This was a great place for my husband and I to stay when we were visiting our adult son who lives in a tiny Williamsburg apartment. It was close to subway stops, coffee shops and restaurants, and easy to walk to meet up with our son at various locations around Brooklyn.

A beautiful and clean place to stay in a perfect location

I love staying at the Arlo as there is so much to do. The room was extremely clean and accommodating. The staff was friendly, efficient, and professional. There were lots of people outside as there were lots of events and activities to do. We went to a pizza space around the corner, and the food was AMAZING. If I had one downside to the Arlo, it would be the hallway has a mildew kind of smell. I assume it is the carpet. However, the smell wasn't in my room, so it was much of a bother.

Great hotel in the city — didn’t get to experience the pool since the weather wasn’t great but I did look and it was a good set up.

I loved it !!! We had a blast. When we checked in the host warned us that the room we got (802) was right above the club and could be loud , but it didn’t bother us any I slept peacefully once it was time for bed. The location was perfect! We walked to food & night life less than 5 min walk. Definitely booking again. We learned the F train is our best bet !!!

Our stay was very last minute but Edith's place made it very easy for us! Extremely clean, tidy, and very thoughtful. The animals were as sweet as the humans that shared the spaced. It felt very private. They were very responsive and helped us park our car which I appreciated! If staying in Yonkers, this is a great deal!

It was an amazing stay. Great location and great unit! Just as shown in photos. Felt right at home!

We had enough space for two adults and two teens. There is a nice little market on the corner as well as a Whole Foods nearby if you plan on needing groceries. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops and bars in the area as well. Subway stops nearby made it very easy to get into and back from other parts the city on the F train. Turning on the floor fans was enough for us to drown out the city noise at night. Great spot and friendly, helpful hosts!

great stay in Bushwick.

This is a boutique hotel in LIC. Easy commute to nyc. Spacious room, so much better than hotels in nyc. Mostly importantly, front desk are super nice. I lived in hudson for a year and lic for a year and let me tell you there are not many friendly receptions in the city but not this one. The one who has a car helped me find a parking lot and save me her spot right outside the hotel when she left at midnight. The other person recommended food at the deli next block and it was indeed great. Will definitely stay here again just because of their help. I forgot their name, but one is an African American lady with a tesla and a great smile. The other one has a great smile too and a hijab on. Regardless, they deserve a raise!

Easily one of my favorite stays in the city. Location just as described and honestly such a breath of fresh air. Ben’s loft was unexpected for the area but a pleasure, central enough to get around all over the city & alllll the food surrounding is incredible. Ben was responsive, accommodating and so welcoming. 10/10 would book again.
