The Carriage House is attached to the owner-occupied house by a shared wrap-around porch. As you'll see from the pictures, we are up on a hill overlooking Sinclair Inlet and the majestic Olympic Mountains. We are downtown Port Orchard, so restaurants and a myriad of cute shops are just steps away, as is the the lovely waterfront. You'll have the house to yourself to relax in the serenity you deserve. You can get to and from Port Orchard by ferry from Seattle, so a getaway with no car is doable!

Enjoy the scenic Olympic Mountains from the deck, or watch the tall ships engage in mock cannon battles. Bremerton Naval Shipyard provides a backdrop with the Pacific Fleet docked across the bay. Have your own boat? Moor at beautiful Port Orchard Marina only a 5 minute walkaway. A fast ferry to Seattle- no need for a car. Watch the sun set over the Olympics, go for a scenic drive to Hood Canal, or just relax and enjoy a bottle of wine from the deck.Go for a stroll along the waterfront boardwalk.

Modern and newly renovated, the Carriage House apartment is fully furnished with everything you need for a relaxing stay. A panoramic view of the Olympic Mountains and Dyes Inlet will inspire and amaze all those who stay in the Carriage House. Ten minutes to Seattle ferry, Shipyard, and Bangor sub base. Tour Puget Sound for 1 hour, free! Wa. State ferries are free for walk-ons. During the pandemic, we are deep cleaning with appropriate products and provide sanitary wipes in the Carriage House.

The suite it completely separate from the upstairs unit with a private entrance. This queen size 1 bedroom suite has a cozy living area, private full bathroom and kitchenette. Full garden views, bright and modern secluded "guest house" 5 minutes off the highway and 10 minutes from the ferry in western Bremerton. The space is a standalone unit detached from our main house tucked off the main street, nestled amongst the cedars and firs along Mud Bay connecting to Puget Sound. The room has a full 270 degree view on the gardens and trees, queen size murphy bed, fridge, sink, microwave, wood stove and bathroom, complete with 16" outdoor rain shower.
