House vacation rentals in Gond-Pontouvre

We had a great time in Sigogne at Véronique's. For a Team Building, it was ideal: company visits during the day, workshops and relaxation in the evening in this superb house. Great comfort and equipment. We will come back without hesitation!

A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! Everything was spot on, blending comfort with a sense of adventure. If you’re looking for a stay that’s both cozy and strikingly unique, this is it!

Wow!! Marie's house was beautiful and in lovely, tranquil surroundings. We were a party of 5 and the house and amenities were perfect. It was great to have a swimming pool to cool off from the summer sun. We booked for a week at a late stage but from the first enquiry to Marie and throughout our time there Marie was always very quick and helpful to respond. We absolutely recommend this wonderful house and host, but hopefully there will still be the opportunity for us to book again when we are in the Charente.

This was our second visit to this beautiful property! And it didn’t disappoint! Such a gorgeous gite, spotlessly clean, beautiful furniture and decoration. The pool was a huge bonus, great size and clean, our girls loved it! Very peaceful area, surrounded by vineyards. Constance was very responsive to messages and very helpful.

The accommodation is very tastefully and fully furnished with good furniture, lots of books, art on the wall etc. Outside is a beautiful terrace with barbecue. A little further away is the lovely natural pool with seating. Adrian's estate (and Vicky) also consists of his own home, some beautiful old stables and other houses, a meadow with donkeys, an artist's studio and a vegetable garden. The whole is very charming, peaceful and in a green natural setting. Adrian himself (Vicky was in England) is very nice and the welcome was very warm with a chest of vegetables, fruits, homemade jam, etc. We had a wonderful week at Adrian's place as a family (6 adults and a baby) and we can highly recommend this accommodation.

Absolutely loved our stay with Debbie and Mike! It was a delight from start to finish. The house is thoughtfully decorated, creating a warm atmosphere that made it perfect for a small group (two couples) getaway. Everything we could possibly need was provided for, from a well-equipped kitchen to a great BBQ setup. Debbie and Mike were a pleasure to engage with - warm and helpful, yet respectful of our privacy. We arrived to a lovely welcome spread that was such a a thoughtful touch after a long day of travelling and set the tone for a relaxing and memorable holiday. The gardens surrounding the pool are beautiful and created a peaceful setting to unwind. You can tell a lot of care and attention has gone into every detail. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our trip - highly recommend!

The accommodation is very clean, very functional and comfortable with a real lounge area where we were able to meet up with 8 people and, which was very nice and above all very convenient, 4 identically furnished bedrooms each equipped with a bathroom and toilet. A real plus! One downside: the kitchen area, although functional and very well-equipped, is a little too small. Plus, the owners are lovely and welcoming! In short, a property to remember...

What a fantastic converted barn we stayed in at Christine’s gite. It was spotlessly clean, and immaculate exactly as described on Airbnb. A lovely swimming pool and very responsive hosts. We had the most amazing quiet and peaceful time exploring the local towns and villages and nearby castles.

Armelle is a charming hostess, her welcome is very pleasant and warm, her recommendations are helpful and accurate. The accommodation is as described, it is comfortable. We had a stay that met our aspirations in every way. I would recommend this cottage without reservation.

No complaints, matches the descriptions: small haven of peace in a small country house, on the outskirts of a city, with a functional jacuzzi, sober and delicate decoration, a very well-equipped kitchen, very comfortable 160 bedding. At the end of the day, we discovered a small terrace at the back (freshness and discretion assured) and a small garden at the front that allows you to follow the sun or not. Very good communication. A place we keep. Thank you

Lovely spot with rolling hills and idyllic views. The accommodation was perfect for what we needed and cosy warm once we got home from our travels around the countryside. All very tastefully done, will be recommending!

Jérôme was very welcoming and guided us as soon as we arrived in Angouleme..(and even before with tips for restaurants!☺️) the house is ideally located, with 2 bus lines nearby...in a quiet location... perfect stay!

Everything went very well and everything was as described and as in the photos. The neighborhood is very quiet and it was easy for us to park. We are very pleased with our stay, which went perfectly.

a charming house in a quiet residence, close to everything, clean with the comfort described , we were there for a wedding weekend, so we went back and forth hoping not to have disturbed the neighbors too much with our comings and goings. only the rainy weather was against us . I highly recommend for a relaxing moment rest in the area . We were there so good that we would have liked to extend it. If I have to come back it will be with my eyes closed. kind regards

Very nice accommodation in the Charentaise countryside, very new, very clean, quiet, while being able to get back to Angoulême quickly. very welcoming and available host.

We really liked Thomas’ place. The pool is much better than the photos look and the pool was very clean. A great little seating area under a canopy and plenty of sun loungers. Rarely used by anyone else! Good location for road cycling (road cyclists from UK will find the roads undulating and open). Really nice peaceful setting. Really quiet. WiFi good enough to do video calls to work from the house.

Thanks to Stéphanie for hosting us in her very nice cottage, with nice touches. The whole family felt very good in this lovely cottage. We'll be happy to go back

A very nice two-story country house in a village. Car can be parked right in front of the entrance. The stairs to the upper floor are very steep, for us this was not a problem. Extremely friendly and helpful owner living next door. Highly recommended place.
