We had a great time staying at Rohanas estate and enjoyed the magnificent view and the beautiful sunsets from the roof terrace. It’s very remote and perfect to calm down and hike the surrounding mountains. Rohana had a lot of helpful advice for hiking and exploring the knuckles and communicating with him was friendly and easy. don’t miss out on the knuckles when you’re travelling in sri lanka - it’s more than worth it!

It was a lovely stay. The room was very nice and we had everything we needed. With the tuktuk you need 20 minutes to Kandy but for us it was worth it to have a peaceful accommodation. We had spontaneous dinner here and the price was more than fair.

I was happy with the place. The host was nice and helpful giving good tips and getting us prepped with breakfast to go the day we left. The house comes with a beautiful view. The spacs is perfectly fine for two people but somewhat cramped for children. The breakfast was good, and the pancakes they made were amazing. I really recommend the place. I used the tuk he recommended to see around the city, but found my own cheaper inter city transport

Aroshi is such a nice host, always saying yes to our requests. Suggested lovely restaurants in the area that we went to and they were great! The house is beautiful, nature is lovely. The only bad thing about this place is it’s a little hard to reach. You can only get there by tuktuks, and not all tuktuks can make the uphill. We were lucky also because her dog had puppies and it was super adorable experience. Also expect some spiders and insects since it is in the middle of the forest, but not much. Thank you!

Had a super nice and relaxing stay. However, if you want to be close to Kandy, this is a bit wrong, because you drive almost an hour into the city. But nature is super beautiful, you can really unwind and relax here. Everyone is super friendly and warm. Our room was great and we slept great. A pool is in planning, we were told - that will certainly be another plus for the accommodation.
