Tara’s place is a clean and well appointed studio accommodation. It was perfect for me this week. I would love to be able to get back there some time. Beautiful country side surroundings including a picturesque waterfall very nearby!

Joseph is wonderfully accommodating to his guests. Lovely country place, he takes great pride in his place and its showed at all turns. Highly recommend.

We had a fab stay at Kilmallock House, helped along by glorious autumn weather and amazing northern lights 😊 The house is really peaceful, warm, spacious and quiet. The bathroom is huge and has a fantastic shower. The kitchen has the basics - only a two ring hob but that was plenty for the two of us. It would be lovely to be able to fling the door open and welcome in the sunshine (it’s a bit dark) but the cat isn’t allowed in so that’s not doable. The view from the kitchen windows over the garden definitely makes up for this 🥰 Don’t forget to bring milk, bread, butter etc. if you’re arriving late afternoon - you’ll need them to go with the lovely freshly laid eggs for breakfast. There isn’t a shop nearby. As outlined in the listing, the stairs are quite steep and the main bedroom is on a different floor from the bathroom so be aware of that if you’re likely to need the loo in the night. Great trad music in Colfers Bar and ballads in Holohans Pub. The cafe at 1798 centre is great

Sonja and Johnny are incredibly kind hosts and I absolutely loved the space! Sonja went above and beyond to make sure I was completely comfortable, even showing me how to start a fire in the wood burning fireplace. Sonja is also an osteopath and provided a service for me (I paid her of course) and I felt amazing the next day. I absolutely loved the place and would 100% stay again for a nice, quiet, comfy place. Also, I was a bit nervous about the WiFi as I had work calls to take, and it was absolutely better than most hotels I’ve been at! 100 out of 10, would recommend!
