The cottage sits at the highest point on the river, with a deck & fire pit overlooking the river providing a breath taking view from sunrise to sunset! Theres a cozy loft for sleeping, and a sun room where you can relax and read all day long. 1/2mile away you have access to 100s of miles of trails for hiking and ATVs. Within a 45 minute drive you have Houghton Lake, smaller lakes, splash pads and casinos, something for the whole family.

The Cozy Den is the perfect place to enjoy a more peaceful, relaxing time. With it's unique log cabin design you'll feel like you've just transported yourself and your family to the good old days. Enjoy the lake located across the gravel drive from the cabin. Kids can play at the waters edge(“beach”area is tiny but keeps kids busy for hours) spot to put in rafts, kayaks & the paddle board) Plenty of bass to catch from shore too. Enjoy nighttime Bon fires and board games at night to wind down.

Currently we enjoy the natural flow of the Tittabawassee River but please note that there no good access point to get on/in the water. Restoration of the dam creating the lake is estimated to be complete in 2026.

Welcome to Wiggins Lake! Amazing fishing, boating, and relaxation! We are 2 doors down from the public boat launch to 345-acre all-sports Wiggins Lake with plenty of driveway space to bring a boat! After being outside all day, choose to stay home at the fully-stocked cottage to cook meals and enjoy the plethora of games and yard space. This place is a gem! It has everything you could possibly need for a little getaway! We had a party of 9 aged from 2 - 55 and there was plenty to do for all! No matter where you are on the property or in the house you are never far away. From the kayaks to the kitchen, everything was made for a good time!

Gorgeous view from the living room and deck. Master bedroom mattress super comfortable. Ceiling fan in living area and master great addition. Loved sitting in at the table in the sunroom since it was a bit chilly to be on the deck. Three local owned restaurants we went to had fantastic food. I already talked to friends about the place and hope to go back again this summer.

Great trip for a ladies planning retreat. Easy location and directions to get in house. Fast response when we had a question about the AC. Living room has the comfy couch and the softest carpet. Happy to have 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms in a small house. Only unexpected thing was how close the houses were together as there were no outside photos in the description. There were also barking dogs both nights. All over great place inside.

A built-in gazebo is situated on a spacious deck overlooking Grass Lake. A round table with four chairs is present beneath the gazebo, complemented by soft curtains. Surrounding trees and vibrant greenery provide a serene, natural backdrop.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay at Matt’s place with our dog. It was exactly the tranquil, comfortable and enjoyable getaway we needed. Beautiful views of the lake. Loved relaxing on the large deck while our dog was able to safely explore, thanks to the fenced in yard. Super clean inside, everything we could need. Our vacation started as soon as we arrived. Great location too as it’s a short drive to several nice parks and trails in Gladwin and the surrounding towns. We highly recommend Matt and his place!

This was by far one of the best Airbnbs that we’ve ever rented. Thomas and Karen were kind and excellent hosts - their response times were lightening-fast, they answered all of our questions before booking, and addressed any minor issues we had during our 2-month stay quickly. They even sent us a baby bath for our infant son! Their home is comfy, spacious, and fully-stocked with essentials, linens, DVDS, and games for a comfortable stay. The kitchen especially has everything you could possibly need! The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Our dog had lots of room to run in the backyard and beyond in the lake bed. Even without the lake, the view is scenic and feels very private. Thomas and Karen were so welcoming — we highly recommend their home!
