Memaw’s Hospitality House

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Enjoy the quiet country setting just outside of town. This spacious 3BR/2B house is located just on the outskirts of the “Antique Capital of East Texas” with lots of unique shops to stroll through. Enjoy a delicious dinner at the local Skippers Pier, or cook up a meal in the kitchen. Longview is a short 12 mile drive, while Tyler is just a 27 mile drive. We are also located 12 miles from Gilmer, known for its famous Yamboree.

This is a 552sqft apartment within our home. It has a completely private driveway and entrance and secure locking interior door between units. One of the features we think you'll most enjoy is the spacious shower with all the hot water you could want! The kitchenette is ready for a bit of cooking if you like. In addition to the King bed, the sofa folds into a bed suitable for an older child or young adult, and a twin mattress on the floor is available upon request.

Happy Hill is a perfectly relaxing getaway. Our home sits on a hill with some of the most stunning views of Lake Gladewater. With two covered porches, a deck and full dock there is plenty of room to relax in the sun or in the shade. The dock is large and rental includes use of a kayak.. The house is decorated in Americana theme with unique artwork and furniture. There are 4 bedrooms and sleeps up to 8 people comfortably. The best of East Texas!
