Absolutely recommended ! The house has everything you needed. Super nice and lots of charm. Beautifully decorated. Warm and pleasant, you feel right at home. Communication very easy and positive. Very likeable. Would love to come again at any time.

We had a great stay as a group of 3, we really liked the place. Despite being in the middle of the wilderness, the hut is very modern and well-equipped. It was cosy with good heating and insulation. The upstairs space is very spacious and has a great traditional style, with solid wood floors and sturdy log construction. Kitchen is well equipped and allowed us to cook good meals. There is also a wood burner and supply of wood which is easy to use (though the electric heating is already very effective). The downstairs floor has a more modern style. Beds and sofa beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms are nice and spacious. For EV drivers, there is a charger by the garage which is useful for charging overnight. In terms of location, we used this as a base to explore the fjords, with access to points on Geirangerfjord, Sognefjord and Romsdalsfjord around 2 hours away by car.

Very nice place, cozy and well stocked cabin. We went on a top trip on Storhornet and were able to start right from the cabin. There was lots of snow, 4WD is highly recommended to get to the cabin. Very great and quick communication with Frode!

It doesn't get much better than this. Great cabin - cosy, tastefully furnished and well-equipped with everything essential. Located directly on the fjord shore, surrounded by beautiful scenery with enjoyable walks and hikes within easy driving distance. For those who wish to venture further, the Atlantic Road, Ålesund, Geiranger Fjord, troll path & wall all are within fairly close reach. Enjoyable walk to the spectacular Mardalsfossen waterfalls. Øyvind is a great, responsive host. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

The house and property were very nice and the view from the terrace just wonderful. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and recovered well. Thanks for the break!

Very nice and cozy house in beautiful surroundings overlooking the mountains. Top is also the complete kitchen, the large dining table and the wood-burning stove for which the wood was ready. The hostess welcomed us and responded very quickly to questions. We'd love to come back.
