High standard cabin on the fishing village of Alnes

Rorbua is located right down by the seafront in the harbour of Alnes with panoramic views of both the spring and the big sea. It's fascinating to follow the birdlife and boat traffic. The light changes throughout the day, you can see both sunrise and sunset from the living room window. This is a place where you can find peace. Right next to the main door there is good mark, varied hiking trails. You can also travel on day trips to Ålesund, Geiranger and Runde. On the neighboring island there is a water sports center with equipment rental.

The apartment is located at the top of Skaret on Valderøya just outside Ålesund with panoramic views of the shipping line long coast. 10-15 minutes drive to the center of Ålesund, about 10 min to the airport. Hiking opportunities just outside the door of the mountain Signal with views in all directions, or to the other islands Godøya, Giske or Vigra. At Alnes, located on Godøya, there is an art gallery/cafe with a view into the sea. Short distance to all the sights of Ålesund and Sunnmørsfjellene with all their hiking opportunities.

Within walking distance you have Atlanterhavsparken, Tueneset with beach, trails, gaps and fire pit as well as bunkers from World War II. You can walk up to Sugarloaf from here. Your parking space is in front of our house, and you go down an exterior staircase to your entrance. The entry has a big wardrobe. Next is the modern and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and washer dryer combo. Down the hallway is a bedroom with a 150x200cm bed and a big closet, and a living room with a sofa bed that pulls out to 140x200cm and a crib. It is a short distance to fishing opportunities and a bathing area, and the hiking trails are right outside the kitchen door. There will also be a boat available for free use during the stay at your own risk.
