If you want to rest, surround yourself with nature, and feel at home, then Atiek and Andre’s place is just the spot. The architecture of the house is a perfect representation of tropical modernism with a ton of light and air filtering in through the old wooden structure. The greenery outside blends in with the inside and you never feel caged in your room. The hosts do some amazing work with the local community, so if you value supporting locally owned businesses, highly recommend staying here. Will definitely come back sometime in future! ❣️

Tucked in the serene hills of Magelang near Jogja, Villa Juliette offers a charming retreat with a blend of traditional Javanese design & modern comfort. The villa is spacious, clean & beautifully maintained, with stunning views of lush greenery. It’s ideal for small groups looking for a private escape. The staff were warm & accommodating, & the peaceful ambiance makes it a perfect spot to unwind. We accidentally left a ring in the villa and just realized when we left Yogya already, but the staff was able to find and return it to us quickly. Excellent service and highly responsive as well. In terms of location, it is not close enough to Borobudur or other famous cultural sites in Yogyakarta, yet it is a perfect hideaway for a short getaway. 🍃
