This place is so amazing , and everything is just very thoughtful , especially the decorations to details ..with the Mountain View, the size of the cabin , the in town. Location and the hot tub , pop corn machines , we did so many stuffs normally we hand no time to do ..and listening the rain dipping into pond especially romantic ..thank for the host all the keep up cleanness and everything..

This cottage is absolutely beautiful! Perfectly decorated, clean, fully stocked for a comfortable stay. Location was great! Secluded but still near civilization, about 10 minutes or less from the town square of Dahlonega. Right around the corner from Crisson Gold mine one of our favorite places to visit. Definitely worth every bit of 5 stars!

This place is mesmerizing! My husband and I traveled to this beautiful cottage for our honeymoon, and it was wonderful. We enjoyed each moment spent looking around the cottage at all the intricate details. We enjoyed the relaxing sound of the creek, and we loved every second of it. It’s absolutely beautiful everywhere you look whether you’re inside or outside. Being at Mad Hatter Cottage was a 10/10 experience, and we definitely would love to come back! Thank you for everything; we had the best time!

Great location and very peaceful. Short walk to the lake. Well equipped cabin and is very clean and comfortable. Great comma from the host. No issues during the stay.

Very peaceful stay for 4 adults just before new years. The woodburning stove was helpful for chilly nights, and the hot tub was enjoyed. Murphy and the surrounding areas are wonderful to explore. Would visit again sometime.

We absolutely loved our stay!! So close to everything and yet still private enough for late night soak in the hot tub! This cottage is stunningly decorated and so comfy and cozy. We will definitely stay here again in the future!!

Loved how quiet it was out on the farm! It was super convenient to my son’s wedding venue, and the kitchen accommodated the HUGE amount of baking I had to do very well!! The beds were super comfy, and the living space is far bigger than it appears in photos! The highlight of our stay (other than the wedding, of course) was watching the cows in the field across the street and the massive amount of fireflies! It was magical!!

Lovely home. Decorated beautifully. We spent the week here for the World Series softball tournaments. Ballfield was across the street. Restaurants/grocery convenient. And Mercier Orchards is a MUST.

The host was great. They communicated very well the place was as described. Would love to come back!

The house was very well equipped from all perspectives. We did not have any issues.

We loved our stay at the school house! Callie was an incredible host, always responsive. We appreciated all the amenities, fully stocked house! She goes above and beyond for her guests, this home is very well taken care of, every nook has been cherished. I told my husband that I didn’t wanna leave! I loved having my coffee on the deck overlooking the woods and watching my kids play hide and seek, and our dog fetching the ball. Lots of great places to eat, Wolf Mountain Vineyard was one of the best. We went tubing with Appalachian Outfitters and did the Consolidated Gold Mine, and explored Dahlonega. It is the most charming little town. We even ventured out to Helen, eat at the Hoochee’s River Basket if you do go (dive of a place but the best burger I’ve had in a long time). Can you tell we loved our stay, it was relaxing with enough activities and fun at our fingertips!

Will was an amazing host, very proactive on communication. The place was gorgeous, we were sad that we couldn't stay longer than one night (due to our schedule) because it just was the cutest little vacation spot. We do plan on coming back and staying longer next time. Thank you so much Will for everything!

Alison’s place was absolutely amazing!!!! It was very comfortable for the 6 of us including are four legged babies. Everything was clean and the amenities were perfect!!!! There were snacks, some spices and everything we needed to cook and clean. The beds were super comfortable. We were minutes from wineries and Helen. Had a great week and a half at Rick's place. Felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Very clean and comfortable. The grounds are amazing! So peaceful and perfect for sitting out on the porch! Morning coffee out there was the best! And great for a quiet happy hour after a day of hiking. We went either hiking or 'exploring' every day. Hike down around the lake is a great place to get a good workout in. About 3 1/2 mikes aroind. Climbed the 665 steps up to the top of Amicolola Falls! Beautiful park and falls. Cooked most of our meals in, kitchen had everthing we needed. As one or two other guests mentioned, if you're there to watch TV or use the internet, reception is not good, but we only cared to watch some news in the morning before we left for most of the day. Came back, ate dinner, sat on the porch, read for awhile and hit the hay. Slept great! PS- Rick is a fast and great comminicator.

The Cottage on the Hill was charming and the home was well appointed. Brandon and Tiffany were super nice and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

if you love fishing or just want a peaceful get away this is the place for you. I caught fish literally all around the lake in atleast 10 different spots the lake is Full. crappies bass blue gill and im sure other fish that I didn't catch.

We had a great weekend stay! The property is well maintained and clean. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked; and the extras such as makeup remover wipes, and plenty of washcloths, towels, and blankets were nice touches. We would definitely stay here again! The creek is beautiful and so peaceful.

Great food, beautiful scenery and the kindest people! We had such a great time, we did not want to leave. We had many hiccups during our 14 hour adventure and Rachel was so helpful when she could be. She is very responsive, reasonable and understanding. She also gives great recommendations! The cottage was so cute! Our kids loved it and they even slept in!! We roasted marshmallows in the fire pit, enjoyed the hot tub and watched the firefly’s. We enjoyed seeing turkeys, woodchucks, deer and we even got lucky enough to see a bear! My girls loved playing in the creek and looking for snails in the forest while enjoying the trails. The waterfalls are right down the road and so gorgeous! I could go on and on about all the cool things we got to see! If looking to dine out you have to check out Toccoa Riverside Restaurant and if you have kids travel just north and check out LillyPad Mini Golf, Fishing and Gem Mining they are so fun and great with kids. We will be back!! ❤️

Beautiful cozy cabin, lots of deer all around!! Had deer grazing 20yds from the hot tub while we relaxed in the evening!!! Only advise is to use waze app to find the cabin. Google maps wasnt working well and tried to take us way out of the way! Susan was very responsive to answer questions! Thank you for a great stay! We would love to come back again!

My Mom, sister, and I just stayed here for a little weekend getaway and it was perfect! The cottage is adorable, and the property is SO beautiful and peaceful. We spent most of our time in the sunroom with the windows open enjoying the sound of the creek running through the property. The neighborhood mountain dog ,pickles, made an appearance many times during our stay and he was so sweet! My only issue with the place is that the pictures make the two bedrooms upstairs appear to look like two separate rooms, but it’s really one big open space. There is a portion of the wall that comes out which does divide the space a little bit, but there’s not really any privacy unless you go in the half bath. Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints! Would definitely stay here again☺️

Amazingly zen experience. Beautiful simple home. Kind of a “Pottery-barn” cool (if Pottery Barn still considered cool?). Everything so comfortable and peaceful. Can’t say enough about this much needed vacation for our little family.
