It was really special and different experience staying at eco homestory. Very traditional and authantic farm life. Amazing! The host served every tasty meal with their farm grown food from volcanic soil. Loved all the tropical fruits. Also was guided hikes to the monkey forest and waterfalls. A lot to do in the farm. Wish I could stay longer here.

We immediately felt comfortable in our bungalow - the decor alone was incredibly beautiful. The staff were very friendly, for example, we were immediately provided with a second duvet. Scooters can be rented directly at the property.

We had a pleasant stay in this peaceful waterfront location. Impeccable welcome and service, very attentive staff. The place is quite isolated, perfect for resting in peace, and we were able to soak up the local culture via a bike ride to the nearest village market, attend a traditional wedding, enjoy a boat day to discover the small surrounding islands paradise (possibility of snorkeling and seeing many fish and even some turtles), improvised birthday evening with the staff who kindly surprised me with a cake. The accommodation is clean and functional. The restaurant is currently undergoing expansion and renovation work.

Our week at Sisoq on Gili Asahan was the absolute highlight of our eight-week trip to Indonesia. I almost cried when we had to leave. The island is stunning, with a true Robinson Crusoe feel—no cars or motorbikes, everything within walking distance, and a few lovely restaurants and resorts nearby. The house is right on the beach, beautifully furnished with books and board games, spotless, and full of charm. Watching the stars from the upstairs balcony was magical. Daily cleaning is provided, and Jana was always available and incredibly helpful—especially when our daughter needed antibiotics and for organizing our return to Bali. As guests, you can use the nearby Eco Lodge Resort’s amenities (SUPs, kayaks) free of charge. We also loved the mountain yoga classes at Yoga Shala and relaxing massages at the spa. We felt completely cared for and would return in a heartbeat. A truly exceptional stay that we recommend wholeheartedly.
