“I loved my stay at Sandy and Jerry’s. This was my first time using air bnb and it was a great experience. I am used to staying at hotels and this was better! They provided so many nice touches, like coffee creamer and breakfast bars, that made it extra convenient. I was on a solo get away so I really appreciate how their setup allows 100% privacy. I did not hear them once! The location is great - a very quite and seemingly safe neighborhood with people out walking and enjoying their day. Sandy and Jerry offered to let me check-in early to avoid driving in a snow storm and also shoveled out my entrance walkway and put salt to melt the ice. Very thoughtful and kind. Very comfortable bed and awesome pillows. 10/10 and will be staying again!”

“Marcella's place is perfect for someone who wants a nice quiet stay in the area but not too far from local attractions. It was very clean and very cozy and well stocked with coffee, tea and essentials needed to cook meals. Check in and out was very easy. I highly recommend Marcella's if you are traveling to the area. If you are coming to the Shelter Institute, it is about a 15 minute drive but off Route 1 which is very busy and loud all night long. I know that because I switched to Marcella's place half way through my stay because staying off Route 1 was so loud.”
Centrally located close to Boothbay Harbor and their Festival of Lights from mid November to 12/31, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens with Lights Aglow from 11/15 to 12/31, Boothbay Region Land Trust's 26 public preserves, Boothbay Railway Village's North Pole Express and much, much more.
“This is a really nice, separate space for one person or a couple to stay. Robert is quick to respond and is very friendly on site while also providing as much personal space as you need. Overall, really good value.”
