Vacation rentals in Geary

Literally a harbor of peace. A very quiet and secluded place, while not being far away from main Skye points of interest. The place is very well thought and Kathy is an attentive host (whose chicken provide excellent eggs !).

Amazing scenery unlike anything you can imagine !

The Smiddy was without doubt the most beautiful, clean and well equipped place we have stayed in. The view from the property was stunning and there were so many thoughtful touches from the maps and local books to the delicious and very helpful goodies which meant we didn't have to rush to the shops. Carmen and John were perfect hosts, really friendly but not at all intrusive. John was a real mine of local information and it was lovely to hear a bit more about the area, including the visiting orcas. We would definitely revisit and would highly recommend.

We spent a wonderful few days at Stephanie & Jordan's property on the Waternish Peninsula as part of our minimoon, we're so glad we made the trip! The property is part of a small community at the very tip of Skye and it's worth the extra miles... Hallin and Waternish feel off the beaten track, wonderfully secluded but also with local amenities and businesses to visit. We loved an evening by the fire at The Stein Inn (delicious mussels) and came home with local pottery and Scottish tablet. The property itself is great, huge glass windows to admire the view and a lovely log burner to keep you cosy at night. The kitchen was probably the cleanest and most well equipped kitchen we have ever come across in an Airbnb! Thanks so much for having us, we will definitely be back when the weather is warmer!

Very welcoming hosts, peaceful quiet location, not far from most places.

Second time staying at Gate Lodge. It’s the perfect wee cottage and always wish the trip could be longer. Lucy is a great host always very responsive and helpful. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thanks again Lucy

One of the best airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in! It takes a special place to feel like home instantly. Incredible views and so comfortable yet practical. (Lovely restaurants nearby but still loved just spending the whole day at Airbnb enjoying the view and fire).

It was perfect! From the easy and clear check-in, to the beautiful accommodation and view, to the stunning cleanliness of the place and to the uncomplicated check-out everything was more than just satisfactory. Communication with the host was also always very good and quick.
