Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

We were 8 and did a team workation. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, but we felt very comfortable in the large living room!

A great stay in an exceptionally well designed and modern house in Garmisch Partenkirchen. The house is very well located for all the excellent local hiking routes such as the Alpspitze. Gertraud is a very kind host who shared all the local knowledge of where to go and what to do with young children. I hope to return.

The stay was very nice. Pauline is a very friendly and nice host. The apartment was clean and had everything you need (as described), even a walk-in closet. The bathroom is modern. In 10 minutes' walk you can reach two supermarkets, a bakery, a snack bar with pizza, kebab, etc. and an Asian restaurant. By car, you can reach Munich in about 30 minutes. I highly recommend staying at Pauline's and will certainly be a guest at Pauline's again in the future.

Has a very cosy, comfortable feel to it. Very quiet location and early May appears to be ‘off peak’ in Bad Hindelang. Ca thoroughly recommend the Schnitzel Alm - fantastic food, great atmosphere and very friendly staff.

The property is located in a side street and is just 15-20 minutes from the city center. Alberto is a very friendly host. The apartment is very clean . We felt very comfortable. Thank you

Fantastic house, tastefully decorated, with all the comforts. Had a great week with the whole family. Very nice that each room had its own bathroom and toilet. Had accidents with toilet seat, was handled very smoothly. Very sympathetic all!

It was all excellent! Super nice area, extremely quiet and great hiking trails directly from the house. We met the landlord briefly, super nice people. Otherwise, you have complete peace, self check-in/check-out also great. Highly recommended.

The accommodation was within walking distance of the centre and easy to find. I was greated with a beer and a very warm welcome. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and felt very homely. I loved my stay here and it was situated perfectly for all my walks up the local mountains. Thank you for my stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view from the balcony is fantastic — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is ideal for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities: running and jogging tracks are just a short walk away, and the nearby cable car makes it easy to access the mountains for hiking or sightseeing. There are also several good restaurants close by, which made dining out convenient and enjoyable. Overall, it’s a great base if you’re planning to explore the Garmisch-Partenkirchen or Grainau region. Would definitely recommend it!

A great place to stay in the middle of Garmisch-Partenkirchen with great views of the mountains. The place was super clean, upscale and good communication with the hosts. Two spacious bedrooms with private bathroom on two floors. The apartment is in a quiet corner with its own parking space in the underground garage. Great stay - any time again!

We had a wonderful stay. The host(s) were very friendly and responsive. The apartment was accurately described in the listing and worked very well for our group which included 4 children. We especially enjoyed sitting on the terrace. Location is also great with many restaurants and a grocery store walkable in less than 10 minutes. We would definitely stay again.

My Husband and I visited this beautiful airbnb. It is such a nice, cozy apartment. We really felt like home. The hosts are super thoughtful and helpful. We really enjoyed out stay and would definitely recommend to others.

The hosts, Laura & Felix, were very clear with communication. They replied fast and straight to the point. Check-in was super easy. The apartment was really neat and clean. It has all the basic amenities one needs, and it is super quiet in there. One can see the mountains from the windows. Farchant (the village) itself is an open air museum. Wonderful for meditative walks. The village can also serve as a starting point for hiking trips. All in all, I recommend the apartment/hosts. Robert

we visited the apartment as a family and were more than satisfied. The apartment is very well equipped, the house is in a quiet area that offers direct many opportunities for hiking. The large and very well-equipped playground right behind the house is especially great for children. The hosts wrote very friendly messages and explained everything simply and well. This was one of our best stays so far. The place offered a fantastic view of the mountains and the city,sunset views are mystical and must not be missed. The house was spacious, cozy and had all the required amenities. Cristina and Ernst were great hosts and made us super comfortable. They were quick in their responses and humble in their approach. We had a short stay over an extended weekend – and felt comfortable from the beginning. The hosts greeted us super friendly, were always approachable and helpful. Especially nice: Simone provided us with great hiking recommendations and excursion tips – that was a real asset. The apartment is modern, very clean and equipped with everything you might need – and even more. We were particularly thrilled with the great location and the great views. All around successful – highly recommended!

The apartment is well located for both hiking in the surrounding area and access into Innsbruck. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The private outdoor terrace had tremendous views and was south facing yet still secluded. Small, well appointed supermarket 10 minutes walk away. Overall I would highly recommend.

We had a great stay, the apartment is equipped with everything you need and was very clean. Kitchen and bathroom are very small, but it fits two people. The area is nice and quiet and good for activities in the mountains. Thank you for the nice stay 😊

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures or in the description, the communication with Emily was also uncomplicated. The amenities and service of this property are of exceptional quality – everything is just right here :)

Alice can make you feel right at home. You will receive all the necessary information in advance, no trying around with the dishwasher or the like. The place was super quiet, you have a fabulous view of the mountains on the terrace. A small river runs right behind the garden fence. Highly recommend!
