This was our first experience with Airbnb, and not were we impressed. Tashi hit this one right out of the ground. If only there was a higher degree than superhost, I would give that to him. A thorough gentleman who helped us with everything, right from correcting our itinerary to showing us the village life and helping us experience some local cuisine. In terms of the place, it’s super clean, amazing location as we wanted to stay a little away from the city hustle and bustle. It has a fresh water stream, the sound of which was extremely soothing and therapeutic. The rooms are nice and big and have a lovely view from the balcony. The beds and the linens were nice and cozy and the bathrooms were big and clean. The common area is spacious and has a very comfortable seating. The place also has a few pets, which our kids loved playing with. On the first day Tashi took us for a 6am walk into the rural area which was about 6km long (back and forth) and we absolutely loved it. Saw some traditional houses, some interesting waterfalls, plants and landscapes. If you guys are looking for some peace and calm, you must not miss this walk. Then he suggested a few places to visit and we were really impressed by those places. The places recommended were exactly as per our liking. The kids loved the place so much that they didn’t want to leave. Wish we could stay there longer and spend a lazier and a more relaxed holiday. Raman’s place was the best part of my trip to Gangtok. I easily spent a day just at the airbnb since it had such a quaint cafe with fresh food, and a curated bookstore with so much local literature to read and enjoy. The neighborhood was very safe and well connected, walkable to most nice spots and cafés nearby. The room itself was much better than the photos, way more spacious, with a cute balcony, and a very clean bathroom. A place I would want to show to friends and family, definitely coming here again.

Home away from home with an astounding view of the mountains!! We were in for a surprise when we reached Tashi homestay and saw the under construction elevation of the house…but all our concerns were washed away when we saw the well laid out, spacious and beautiful interiors. It was a perfect and cosy home with perfect hosts. Entire Tashi family was very courteous and always supportive of our needs. Each room was beautifully maintained with cosy beds and well maintained baths. Never for a moment we felt we were away from home. The view from the homestay is spectacular,.you can see the valley in front of you. The Tashi view point is also pretty close this place. The Tashi family treated us with excellent home food and we loved every bite!! The children liked the place soo much, that they wanted to stay there for ever :) Thanks Tashi for being a wonderful host and we will surely will love to stay with you again when we come to Gangtok next time!!

Ayush is a very good person and host, he made us feel at home and his family took care of us. He made sikkim trip easy for us by telling us the best places to visit and arranged a driver as well. Although since the place is on the main highway you might hear some noises of vehicles but if you're from cities it won't bother you that much anyways it gets quite after 8PM.
