Vacation rentals in Galloway Lake

Had an excellent autumn weekend stay - Kara and Serge were friendly and responsive, and the property is beautiful. The cottage is super charming (the lovely sunroom and two fireplaces were highlights), and the view of the lake is spectacular. We also loved using the fire pit and provided kayaks, pedal boat, and canoe. Would 100% recommend!

We booked this property for a three family weekend away (with one day spent at the ski hill a half an hour away). The host was great to communicate with, the property manager as well. The place was clean, the bathrooms are beautiful and we used all the amenities and just had great family time. Exactly what we needed in our price range. My only comment would be that there wasn’t anywhere to hang towels so you might want to bring suction cups to hang them in the bathroom showers. Also, we brought firewood with us (although it was too cold to use the backyard fire pit). We did learn when we got there that the property manager has wood so save yourself the trip :)

When we walked into Jacqueline's place it was like wow!!! Open concept,bright and loved the decor and the top to floor windows. Jacqueline was very accomadating and very responsive. Would highly recommend her place and we will definitely be back in the future!!! Thanks for being a wonderful host

My family had a great time at this beautiful cottage, we would definitely book here again. Easy check-in/out, great spot for kids and baby, very clean and welcoming.

Kudzai was a great host. He was always available to help with any questions or info about the house. We stayed there on and off during many weeks while completing a job in Peterborough. We would go home on weekends and when we returned each following week the house was cleaned spotless and new items added to cater to any of our needs. Thank you for everything Kudzai. Excellent host!

I had a great stay at Dave’s cottage. The area is close to small towns if any you ever need to pickup groceries nearby. There’s big windows all around to see the lake as well. I’d say if you want a bigger beach to swim, I would go to sandbanks just to the south. However the lake is fine go swim in, it is just a bit weedy unless you swim further out. It’s a great spot especially if you want to go on day trips to wineries and PEC.

Cozy Fun Perfection! Loved that the kitchen WAS truly stocked (sometimes it’s really not) made big family dinners and everything I needed was there. The view, the games, the relaxation. Our family will be back!

Staying here in the winter was a particularly lovely treat - the Christmas tree was up, the snow had just fallen and the cottage felt like a warm and inviting place to snuggle up by the fire and read a great book. I will definitely be coming back:)

We’ve been staying at Jessica’s properties for the past four years and always enjoy our stay. If you have a boat or other water vessel, this place provides a free slip for the duration of your stay which is great! Jessica’s properties are always extremely clean, free of clutter and provide all the necessities and more! The restaurant and general store at the marina (on site) are very convenient. If you do have a boat or rent one on site, be sure to visit Juniper Island! It’s always a fav of ours to visit.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Eugene’s place and couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that a lot of thought and care had gone into making guests feel comfortable and welcome. The place was clean and impeccably tidy, which immediately made me feel at home. Eugene had gone above and beyond with thoughtful touches: a well-stocked coffee station with a variety of options to start the day right, the temperature perfectly pre-set to create a cozy atmosphere, and bath gel and shampoo in all the bathrooms, making my stay even more comfortable. For those who enjoy cooking, you’ll be happy to find the kitchen fully equipped with all the essentials and more. Since we had little kids with us, I loved having access to cooking supplies that made preparing meals a breeze. Overall, my stay at Eugene ‘s place was truly exceptional. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-appointed home away from home.

Communications were easy, checkin was easy, even on Christmas Eve. Our walkways were cleared nicely. Bed was comfortable and cozy and there was everything we needed. We were very glad of the fireplace in the main room. The bedroom was a little chilly outside the covers. We would definitely use these accommodations again. Thank you!
