Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Gallipoli

What a great find for somewhere to stay in Lecce. This was only 9 mins from the station and 5 mins from the old town and very easy to find our way around Lecce. Our host was very responsive and we had a very warm welcome, with the local cake/pastry presented to us. There was also a lot of provisions supplied to get us started, such as juice, milk and bread. The apartment was huge and very well kitted out. Loads of plates, pans, cooking items and glasses. Having 2 proper bathrooms was also very welcome. The beds were very comfortable and the place was in a very quiet residence. OK the furniture was very traditional but this made the place feel very homely. Also having the balcony was great to able to eat outside for breakfast and evening meal. Couldn’t have found a better place. Definitely recommend it and if we are back in Lecce we will definitely be back.

Francesco was an impeccable host, his property is really for those who want to escape the chaos of the city. The apartments are small but have everything you need to live peacefully for a week or more (I would only suggest putting in a small microwave so you can heat up some dishes on the fly). The property is magnificent, surrounded by greenery and tranquility, and is extremely well maintained; in addition, Francesco provides bicycles so you can reach the nearby beach without having to use the car. I would definitely recommend it to those wishing to stay in San Foca and its surroundings. Thanks Francesco!

Giuseppe's representative, Ilario, was excellent. He met us at the door and did a thorough job of showing us around and making us feel welcome, and he was very quick to respond when we had the occasional question. The apartment is clean and spacious. The location is well-placed in the old town, with many great restaurants nearby. It's about a twenty minute walk to the train station, which is convenient for day trips, and there's a good supermarket (Conad) about fifteen minutes away, outside the Porta Napoli. Our only problem with the place was that the dryer did not work, but there's a good drying rack which was fine. You'll need a couple of days for the clothes to dry. We highly recommend this apartment, and we would certainly stay here again.

We immediately felt at home with the welcome of Giuseppe and his mother Anna, who is a wonderful lady, apartment located in a great location 5 minutes on foot from the sea and the village market, it is also located in a location close to other places of interest (Santa Maria di Leuca, Gallipoli, Otranto, etc.), I really recommend this apartment and this village for those who want to enjoy a holiday of pure relaxation, we will miss Anna's cold coffee very much. We will definitely be back

The accommodation is very practically furnished and all three bedrooms have a small bathroom. The roof terrace is very cozy and gives you the opportunity to rest after a busy day. There is little room to sit cozily inside, which is no problem in good weather because you can always go to the roof terrace. Danilo is extremely helpful and very proactive in sharing information and is quick to think along with you if you have a question. In short, a very practical house that is centrally located in Lecce and can serve as a perfect base. Free parking is available in a nearby street (5-10 minutes' walk) gr Jan

This place is stunning! We sat on the terrace and enjoyed the view all day. We did a grocery shop prior to arriving, cooked/bbq’d without issue (plenty of cooking utensils/dishes), and ate al fresco when the weather permitted. We did laundry and everything air-dried quickly in the sun and breeze. Did a beautiful coastal drive. Loved everything about this place. Assunta gave great recommendations, met us to review everything, and was very responsive to the few questions we had. The bed was super comfy too. Oh and did I mention THE VIEW? Tons of storage to keep the bedroom uncluttered. Assunta provided snacks (loved the cookies), rusks, taralli, and a bottle of wine too! We would love to return year after year! It’s a WOW!

Lovely apartment! Fresh and clean. Cafes, restaurants and beach within walking distance. Try to catch the fruit/vegetable truck. It stops near the apartment a few times a week. Really good and cheap fruit! Our host was quick to answer and helped us every time without hesitation. She even fixed a brand new high chair for our baby❤️

Very beautiful and large house in a typical village a few kilometers from Otranto! Very quiet, with a large garden, there are shops 2 minutes' walk away. Communication was simple. The welcome from Veronica's family was perfect, very thoughtful! You can go there without a second thought!

We felt immediately at home at Nieves! The house was beautiful, spacious, cozy, quiet and clean. Nieves was always responsive and available when we had questions. We felt very much at home and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Nieves for sharing your home....and dogs! Sally

Beautiful home and beautiful hosts. The top floor with the little kitchen and dining and the terrace is a beautiful place to relax and the three sleeping places worked well for us. Location was top too 👌

We were charmed by this little corner of heaven. Comfortable bed, immaculate space, functional for cooking and perfect for relaxing outdoors. We enjoyed the availability of bikes since the village is close by. Andrea gave us great suggestions for restaurants.

My stay in Parabita was truly unforgettable. The location is absolutely stunning, offering beautiful surroundings and a perfect setting to relax and enjoy the charm of Puglia. The house itself is spectacular—spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Massimo, the host, was exceptional—always attentive and incredibly kind, making sure every detail was taken care of. His hospitality made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of southern Italy in a gorgeous home with a wonderful host.

Wonderful stay in a very peaceful location. Enea was very prompt with communication and met us at the property. A lovely couple who greeted us with kindness. We were even left some local bakeries 😋 The villa itself is perfect, with lots to see and do around. We particularly liked being able to walk or cycle to the beach and also the nearby town of Gallipoli. Thanks again for having us!

We had a really great time at Valerias place. Everything is as described and better. Daniela welcomed us warmly and throughout our 3 weeks there she was always reachable and happy to help us out. Valerias cosy house was a great base for us from which we we able to explore the beautiful beaches and towns of the Salento region. On cloudier days our two sons (1 and 2) enjoyed playing in the closed backyard. The pizzeria next door offers delicious pizza and pasta and they even Lent us a vacuum cleaner to clean out the rental car. The same basically goes for the whole town. Everybody was really friendly and welcoming, especially towards our kids 🙃. Close by you can also find a really nice bakery with delicious bread, pinsa and other delicacies. I could go on like this for some time, but I don't want to bore anyone with the details of our trip. So to wrap it up: I can fully recommend staying at Valeria's! We would love to come back some day.

Pleasant stay, the accommodation is 10 minutes from Otranto, 1 hour from S. Maria Di Leuca, 1 hour from Gallipoli. Restaurants and shops 2 minutes by car. Access to the accommodation is simple and no worries about parking nearby. There's everything you need to spend a few days. The accommodation is located in a residence with several accommodations of the same type. I was almost the only one, maybe in summer it's a little noisier! The host is very helpful, I recommend it 100%.

We would have given more but we couldn't + than 5 stars …Giammarco welcomed us VERY well with a bottle of wine… We were our 3 weeks in Italy 🇮🇹 so we wanted to fall well …. And yes, VERY well located, perfect apartment… very beautiful view and close to everything …. 12 min from Gallipoli and 5 min walk to the beach …. Spa for evenings…. What more can I say, it was GREAT... Thanks again and small restaurant 3-4 min walk away, the Scapricciatiello fish, mussels, clams etc. everything is FRESH, it ticks all the boxes ✔️ and easy parking 👍

Nice and Kindly Hostess, Benedetta is very helpful and kind. Her apartment is supernice with a lovely big terrace fromwhere you can see the neighborhood and enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset. And everything you wish to buy is just around the corner at her place. Highly recommended

This place was almost too good to be true. I had a last minute booking to stay in Otranto, and I luckily found this spacious condo. I was travelling solo, but this place looked big enough to sleep 3-5 people, and it was SO clean. My favorite part were all the neighbor cats that hang around on the balcony. The place has AC, laundry, full kitchen with pots and pans, TV, and good Wi-Fi (could be spotty at some points, but I was a remote worker and had no problems with connection). Otranto is a small community, so everything you need is within 10 minutes of walking. SO many great restaurants and seafood. I would recommend that if you're looking to come for the beach to come between August and October, as the May waters were still freezing. Nonetheless, a great seaside town to escape to! Simona was a kind and accommodating host who was able to meet every need I had. Would definitely recommend!

Giacomo was very helpful, the house was very clean and well maintained, the patio and pine forest priceless with a view of nature. Also much appreciated by our little dog. Highly recommended

The room was as described, the location was very convenient, there is also a Minimarket nearby. We really enjoyed the bed, super comfortable after long days under the sun by the sea. Too bad we just didn't have the necessary to take advantage of the stove that was on the balcony, a nice place where you can make a small meal. Everything else is perfect, recommended!

Anna Laura's location is very welcoming and typically Salento. I expected something more country-like, instead I found a very beautiful property, with attention to the smallest details, from the stone walls to the beautiful fixtures, to the palm tree in front of the bedroom window. We immediately settled in very well, so much so that my boyfriend immediately used the barbecue to cook a fabulous sea bass. Anna Laura is very kind and friendly. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, from the stacks of Torre S. Andrea to the beach of Torre dell'Orso, perhaps a little too crowded. Unfortunately we had to interrupt the stay due to the illness of my boyfriend's mother, but we will definitely be back!! Thanks so much Anna Laura
