Beachfront vacation rentals in Gallina

Fantastic 3 weeks at Francesco`s beautiful apartment - superbly located on Isola Ortigia, an absoultely spectacular place. Lively even during winter and a number of sights (Neapolis is a must!). Went to the food market for fish and greens and made dinner at home every other day or so. Otherwise a number of very good restaurants within a 500m radius. Breakfast and lunches on the spectacular terrase, short/t-shirt at least half the days (when in the sun) even during winter. Francesco was very helpful when we needed some minor assistance with heating and dishwasher. The heating system was the best I have every come across in Italy - water heated radiators, not only the usual A/C. All in ll - spotless!

My wife and I traveled to Ortigia with our daughter for her 25th birthday. This home checked all the boxes when we booked it. Location on the water, nice modern home, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. But, when we got there, it was so much more amazing than we could have imagined. The home is beautiful - on the water with a stunning rooftop deck and amazing sunsets. Its situated right in the heart of Ortigia next to Fountain Arethusa. Walk out the front door onto the cobble streets to restaurants, coffee bars, shops. Turn right and walk a few minutes to Castello Maniace. Turn left and walk a few minutes to the Piazza Duomo. Yolande was an amazing host. Communication was great. Answered all my questions and helped find us a driver for the week which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Our driver, Beppe, was born in Ortigia and taught us more about Sicily during our car rides than any guide we could have round. Grazie Yolande!

Salvatore was a fantastic host. Responsive and informative on check in. Place was in a beautiful location across the road from the water and a small beach. Stunning sunsets. Unfortunately we were there on a public holiday weekend so lots of noise from the restaurants below. Otherwise perfect.

We had a fantastic stay. The location was perfect and within walking distance to many great restaurants, the market, and other important landmarks. Cesare was very responsive and flexible as we navigated the parking situation. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely time staying here. We didn’t need to use the car as it was a 30 minute walk to the archeological park and a 30 minute walk to the castle on Ortygia. The flat was spotless and the view from the window amazing. Highly recommended

Great house in front of the beach with amazing view of crystal clear water, beautiful terrace and you are close to so many other town by car(Noto/Ragusa/Siracusa) Very very recommended

Everything as per the description but one point worth noting. The internet access was outstanding. Basically 800 mb down and 300 mb down. Absolutely fantastic connection is you're having a working vacation and need access to video meetings and large files.

Federica’s apartment is even better than the description! After Naples and Palermo, this was just perfect for some time relaxing. The pool is lovely and overlooks the sea, you can swim at anytime. You can also go down some steep, narrow steps to the beach and swim in the sea with little fishes! The house is spotless, has a very comfortable bed and best of all, mosquito screens meant we didn’t need to use the air-con and could fall asleep listening to the sea! There is a lovely balcony set up with chairs and a table where you can enjoy the sea view and sunrise if you’re up early enough! All in all, perfect, a lovely bottle of wine was left for us too. I really didn’t want to leave!

We loved our stay at Villa Regina - the house is fantastic and very spacious for a couple. The outside sun terrace is huge and wraps around two sides of the house so the sun or shade is easily found. The views of Ortigia are great and the sound of the waves below are very relaxing. It’s the best Airbnb terrace we’ve ever had. There’s not many restaurants nearby but the walk into Ortigia takes about 20-30 mins and was worth doing for better choice. Finally, Maria was very helpful and responsive. We’ll hopefully come back again!

We absolutely loved Alfredo’s place. Beautiful, immaculately clean, comfy bed and amazing shower. Loved the little deck sitting out area for evenings and pool to cool off. Fabulous Airbnb and Alfredo was so lovely and friendly and helpful. Great 5 days in lovely Fontane Bianchi.

thanks Saro for hosting us. we had a great week at your beautiful home. House was clean and with everything equiped we needed. 5 big beautiful bed rooms, every room with an own bath. the garden is nice and we enjoyed the pool very much (can recommend the paid heating especially with children). the beach nearby (100m) is also very beautiful and we loved the smooth walk into the water and the dunes. just as an information: there is no marker or restaurants in walking distance. but some good restaurants in 5 min distance by car, and bigger super markets in 10 min distance.

The villa was absolutely beautiful and very well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the choice of outdoor areas and the pool. Sabrina was an extremely lovely and responsive host who made sure our stay was smooth. Arriving in Catania at 8am, we were able to do an early check-in which was much appreciated. Our children also appreciated the cats who came to say hi, it reminded us of ours :) We would definitely recommend Sabrina’s place.

We had a great time staying at Antonio and his family's place! Unfortunately, our outbound flight was delayed for 3 hours and Antonio checked in with us at 2 o'clock at night and was more than friendly. The place is very well maintained, there was even water, everything for an Italian breakfast and pasta for cooking. The garden area is well maintained and the pool very pleasant. It is definitely recommended to have a car, then the beautiful old town of Syracuse can be reached in about 15 minutes and you are on the very beautiful beach in less than 5 minutes. We would definitely recommend the place in Arenella!

Stunning villa, spacius inside and outside, huge porch with comfortable sofa and tv, private pool with deckchairs for sunbathing. Walking distance to the beach, a short drive to the shop. Perfect fit for 6 people, with lots of kitchen amenities and various glasses to enjoy wine or other sicilian spirits and delicacies.

Marco was a fantastic host. He guided us confidently with all the help through the rather tricky driveway (the apartment is located in a very winding, by the way not barrier-free complex, which in turn is in a kind of "gadet community" with many other resorts and holiday homes, which can only be passed through a barrier and gates. We were incredibly lucky and were almost the only guests in the complex. So we had the great and very clean pool almost to ourselves. In general, everything was very quiet and peaceful and we were almost alone. The view from Marco's terrace is fantastic. Very, very fantastic view of the sea and Mount Etna. Depending on the time of day, some sun, some shade. Simply outstanding. The complex/apartment from the 60s has a great charm, though a bit outdated;) Unfortunately, we searched in vain for access to the sea. Many paths were blocked or overgrown. Thank you, Marco!🫶

We had a fantastic stay in Robin's beautiful house in Ognina. Can only join other guests in confirming that the place is perfectly clean, comfortable, modern, in a beautiful setting, right across the street from a small bay, with all the necessary amenities. Robin was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, made us feel very much at ease and gave us lots of recommendations for the area. We were traveling with a toddler and had a crib and a high chair that we really appreciated. We enjoyed taking morning walks around Ognina and grabbing afternoon aperols at the cafe by the port. Just note that the house is shared with other guests who have their own access and space, which didn't bother us at the slightest and everyone we saw was very friendly. A fantastic apartment for a family. Extremely quiet and amazing location, steps from the sea. Rooftop deck has views of both the sunrise and sunset! Very clean, comfy beds, and modern. We would definitely stay here again. The host helped us with everything, and provided wonderful restaurant recommendations.

Highly recommend staying here. It’s a beautiful apartment, that is spotlessly clean and has everything you may need. The views from the balcony are fabulous and right across the road from the beach. Cafes and restaurants are all within a few steps away. The welcome gift is very cute. Vincenzo is extremely helpful and great at recommendations. If we ever return to Pozzallo, we’d definitely stay here again.

I was hesitant to book because there was only one review—but I am glad I did. Overall it was GREAT (amazing ocean view, large space, easy check in instructions and optimal location) but there are a few things that could be improved. AirbnB penalizes hosts for ratings less than 5 stars, so I give the host 5 stars even though there were a few issues. Minor Issues: missing a few amenities from the listing (e.g., beach towels and umbrella). The host did bring us extra regular towels to use the next morning. Shower pressure was weak & there was no conditioner or shampoo. When you take a shower the water goes everywhere all over the floor. Lastly, if you are sensitive to loud noise, our upstairs neighbors would drag chairs and we heard banging sounds late at night (we didn’t complain to the host since it was late). WiFi was spotty (we got 1-2 bars) Parking: we parked in Parcheggio Porta Marina lot which is only an 8 min walk to the place. We used EasyPark app to pay & renew every 24 hours

Really enjoyable stay. Excellent communication on check-in. The only thing I would say is that the bedroom which looked onto the road was quite noisy until 1am on Saturday night. Friday and Saturday were fine. Other than that the apartment was beautifully renovated, had everything we needed and was well located for exploring Ortigia.

We loved our stay at the cottage and especially the beautiful garden 🌵🌴 The cottage had everything we needed, and we really enjoyed the outdoor shower. The beach is very close and is in a beautiful nature reserve. We also enjoyed discovering the pretty city of Noto, and the restaurants in Lido di Noto. A far too short stay for us but were immediately made welcome by this lovely family… truly the highlight of our first visit to this area of Sicily. So generous with whatever was ready from a perfect garden or the pretty chickens. A very efficient very gorgeous cottage that was a delight! Wonderful beach in walking distance by park, with enticing beach restaurant attached. It was a highlight of our vacation!!!
