Suas Thuas (Up Above), Dogs Bay beach. Errisbeg.

We had a great time at Catherine's place, the cottage itself was perfectly equipped and located to explore Connemara. One of the highlights of this place is the view towards Dog's Bay and its privacy. Would definitely stay at Catherine's cottage again!

A quirky cottage with loads of rooms and great for a large group. Ray was a great host and very easy to communicate with. The location was great for us as we were exploring a few different spots around Athenry for day trips, the motorway makes connections around the region very easy. We would certainly come back to Ray's place if we were to come back to the Athenry/Galway area.
A charming historic cottage is presented, featuring a thatched roof and stone exterior. Colorful flowers adorn the front, and a bright pink door adds a splash of color. The surrounding landscape showcases a clear blue sky and hints of the nearby Burren Mountains.

Thatch Cottage by the Sea on Galway Bay

JoniRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Beautiful thstched roof cottage on the sea. Spent a peaceful two nights and enjoyed the nearby walks that Paul had recommended including the restaurant in nearby Ballyvaughn. We even had a tourist bus stop in front of the cottage for photos! That's how charming it is! Thanks you so much for sharing your home with us!

This is a great cozy place, decorated like a classic home of the mid 20th century, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. It even has a fireplace! It’s in Athenry, with a train station accessible directly from Limerick or Dublin. It’s a 20 min ride to Galway centre. Ray is a nice guy who showed us around when we arrived. We really recommend it

Extremely happy with our stay. The house had a couple of quirks but the instructions from the owner were clear and made the stay effortless. The location was unbeatable with promixity to town, the cliffs, the burren, and Galway. Couldnt have picked a better spot for our homebase for the trip

This stay was absolutely amazing! The place was not only beautiful and spotless, but also incredibly cozy and thoughtfully decorated. Susan was a fantastic host! She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I couldn’t recommend this place more and would love to come back someday. Thank you, Susan!

Stylish home next to the Ocean with Jacuzzi Bath

TracyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a fantastic stay! The location is beautiful, right along the promenade and in front of the Blackrock diving board. It’s a 5-min drive or 10-min walk to Salthill’s main street, with lots of great restaurants and groceries. Morton’s was our favorite, especially their fresh-baked soda bread. Blackrock Cottage (just out front) and The Creamery (5-min walk) were our top restaurant picks and easy to walk to. The house was clean, cozy, and well-furnished. Our host was incredibly responsive and welcoming, leaving us a fresh loaf of soda bread, butter, jam, and a bottle of red wine. It’s about 15 mins from Galway city center by car. We’d recommend having a car unless you plan to stay mostly around Salthill. Would definitely stay again!

Me, my cousin and his two young sons stayed at Gail and Antoine's house in Garmna, right in the middle of the islands in Connemara. We had a warm welcome from the first day not only from Gail and Antoine but also from their neighbors. The house was veryclean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The bedrooms were to a high standard and the place was veryconvenient for the fishery, our reason for coming. Antoine was extremely generous with his time and advice. We loved the pool table in the evening. The atmosphere was always relaxed and welcoming. I highly recommend anyone who would like a trulyIrish experience in beautiful Connemara. We will undoubtedly be back!

"The Art House" Galway

ReginaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This home is well situated in the quieter west end so you can easily cross the bridge to the touristy Latin Quarter if you like and retreat to a more peaceful location when you've had enough. Plus the neighborhood has its own delicious restaurants (Hooked is one) and THE most authentic trad music scene (Crane's) right around the block. Everything is close and walkable. If you have a car you can park in one of several garages or just feed the meter until 6:30pm when parking on the street becomes free until 8:30am. That sounds hard but oddly isn't. Deni is also VERY responsive. Highly recommend.

Beautiful one bed apartment in excellent location

Catherine C.Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
I was looking for a quiet and yet beautiful spot to relax . Matthew's place was above and beyond my expectations. I was arriving on my own in Spiddal for the first time and a bit worried about finding the apartment and getting in. Matthew gave me detailed information and pictures of entering the apartment.. It couldn't have been easier!! And so secure. The apartment itself is beautiful. I felt so at home. The views and walks are hard to describe in words, so lovely. People in Spiddal are extremely welcoming. Groceries, pubs and the bus are a few steps away. In a few words, I can't wait to go back and definitely hope I can stay at the apartment. My home away from home. Thanks Matthew!!

Excellent stay in a gorgeous location. The house was terrific and was spread out enough that four adults and 3 children were not on top of one another. The decor and ambience created a sense of serenity as well. As expected, it is rural and a bit isolated so just be prepared for that. The pub down the street is cash only and no food.

Top notch experience. Max was very easy to communicate with and answered immediately with the lone question I had. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped with gear, and the outdoor area really made it a special stay. The surrounding area was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. 3 minute walk to a art gallery/cafe, 4 to the beach, 5 to a restaurant/bar. If this place is available don't screw around, just book it.
