Beautiful and well appointed space with everything we could have wanted - soft blankets, great snacks, detachable shower wand, nice shampoo/conditioner/ body wash. The location was directly on the water with amazing sunrises. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay and hope to return.

This place is perfect! The house is so cute and cozy we didn’t want to leave. The hosts left a hand written card and a bottle of wine for us when we arrived, which was so thoughtful. Beautiful views and tons of privacy. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone!

The property is as advertised. It’s perched on a rocky shoreline with a nice wraparound deck that enables you to enjoy the water views and stars at night. The dock was removed due to end of season so actual water access was not feasible given the tidal schedule. This property does not disappoint. It’s location is ideal for exploring (driving) the region or not going anywhere. I would not hesitate to book this cottage again.

Matt’s place in Conway is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Clear instructions on everything and when we had questions he responded immediately. Loved the amenities, kitchen and bathroom. View was amazing and so peaceful. We truly enjoyed our stay here.

The home was in a beautiful location and it was so peaceful to wake up and look out over the water. The beds were comfortable and there was lots of space for our group to hang out. The host was very accommodating and answered all our questions quickly. Highly recommend!

The cottage was exactly as it was shown and described. Very clean and cozy inside and a very quiet neighborhood. He gave great instructions and local recommendations. He was a great host and I would highly recommend!

Very spacious nice peaceful home on a pretty lake within a great location. Beautiful lake views from every room. The house was immaculate with much attention to detail for our comfort. The kitchen was amazingly very well stocked with supplies. Breakfast items in fridge as well as some welcoming adult beverages were also available to us with a very welcoming message. Bonnie & Paul were exceptional friendly hosts going above & beyond to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. We highly recommend Bonnie and Paul’s home for the quiet, comfort, spaciousness, views, location, cleanliness, lakeside charm, and filled with everything needed for a wonderful visit in Maine. We had a FABULOUS stay at Eric's place!! The kitchen is well-stocked with pots/pans/etc, and the house is gorgeous and clean. We took a fabulous short hike and went to the Wright Chocolate House! The hot tub is AMAZING and exactly what we needed. Eric was responsive, friendly, and helpful. We can't wait to book again for next fall!!

For Arrival: Put the written instructions together with the photos, and you'll make sense of the tricky-to-find parking spot. (This is not to say that parking is a "problem." I have a lifetime of poring over maps, studying geography, and can easily rely overmuch on the unthinking ways a GPS-led orientation.) But, in approaching Emma's place, it's important to read the instructions line by line, put those instructions together with the images. Be patient, let their words guide you. It's actually kinda fun -- like a scavenger hunt -- once you feel their rhythm. The Space: I awed in every single room. The cleanliness and freshness, surrounded by a score of other living things--oh those plants!--and the sweet, thoughtful use of space. I felt right at home. It is a loved space. I so enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. Reading in the front room. Studying in bed. Mornings spent looking north-by-northeast to the ridge yonder. What a value. I am looking for another reason to go up that way.

The house and the surroudings we're perfect for our fall foliage visit in early October. If you want a cookie cutter hotel room experience, then Maria's 300 year old farmhouse is not for you. But if you want a unique "one of a kind" experience, then you need to book your stay at Maria's place. Only 20 minutes by car from Portland. Yarmouth is a quiet little town with nice restuarants and a chill vibe. This home has a lot of history that goes back before the country was born! We definitly recommend Maria's farmhouse for a wonderful chill experience.

This was a beautiful spot for a friends getaway weekend. Everything was cozy, and the beds were very comfortable. The views were stunning, and we loved the hot tub for relaxing. Thanks for sharing this space!

This Lakeside Retreat was a perfect weekend escape for two couples. In late September, we seemed to have the pond to ourselves and enjoyed sharing time around the firepit overlooking the lake. The Bathroom was spacious and one level up from the bedrooms downstairs. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare an excellent meal. I would highly recommend this cabin to a a small group of friends or family looking for a great location near Portland and Lake area attractions.Our host Bobbi was very responsive.

We had a great time. The house is absolutely beautiful. You can really feel how much love was put into the renovation and in all the small details throughout the house. 🙂 We were really disappointed about the fireplace not working as it is a big contributor to adding that “something extra” to the ambiance. That said, again, we still loved it and all the positives definitely outweighed that one negative. The hot tub is AWESOME!! The setting overall was just so calming and relaxing. We would love to come back! Overall we loved it and it really is such a little oasis 🫶🏻

We had an amazing time in the treehouse. My kids absolutely loved it and said they will never forget our trip to the treehouse.

Peaceful and quiet, absolutely loved the kitchen layout! We are big into cooking and it felt right at home. Beautiful hot tub that was very relaxing after a day of hiking. Will for sure be returning

Kate’s house is an excellent stay in Windham. Just off the main drag with restaurants and bars, it’s close to Portland but secluded enough to give you the feel of lake living. Would highly recommend for any group getaway.

Beautiful location, perfect stay with amazing hosts! This was the perfect getaway for our family and we cannot wait to go back! The location can't be beat and Kate and Barry went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!
