My friends and I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming country cottage in the heart of the Irish countryside, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated, blending traditional Irish charm with modern amenities. The living room, with its exposed beams and stone fireplace, was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. We loved the comfortable sofas and the selection of books that added to the cozy vibe. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare some of our meals with fresh ingredients from the local markets. We enjoyed dining at the rustic wooden table, with views of the lush green fields outside. The location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area. Margo is a great host and has a really unique location. Our party of six had a great time and positive feedback. One bit of advice for anyone booking is to be aware that data signal is extremely weak within the property, would definitely advise people to download playlists etc if intending to play music etc. Thanks again Margo!

This was an ideal place just to unwind and have a very peaceful break. Annette and Tim’s house was so cosy and warm and had everything we needed for our two night stay. Annette was very warm and friendly and gave us very useful tips on what there was to visit in the area… walking distance to Tintern Abbey and it’s beautiful surroundings and in Duncannon there’s a great place to eat at The Strand. Our 3rd stay @ The Old Kennedy Farmhouse & not our last. Breda had a lovely welcoming fire ready on our arrival & gorgeous home baked goods. Extra firewood & coal delivered to the door. All the home touches makes Breda’s place a wonderful place to stay. And the beds are super comfortable. 100% would recommend.

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay at Evelyn's place. if you are looking to be as close to nature as you can be this is the place to book. It is a very peacefull place to recharge the batteries. The cliff walk on your doorstep is a must do. The view of the sea is stunning. The pictures are exactly what to expect. Eveyln was very welcoming and gave great recommendations on places nearby to get dinner etc. We left feeling rested and refreshed. 5 stars from us.

We had an exceptional 3 night stay in early November. The house was spotless and the breakfast provisions and coffee provided by Hosts were greatly appreciated. Duncannon is a small village on an inlet coast. Beautiful. Peaceful. The home was very comfortable and within walking distance (mere 70 steps, 140 steps) to two good local restaurants. Coffee shop on beach, too. We ventured out to the Hook Lighthouse which we highly recommend. One of the best airbnb experiences we’ve had. A car would be necessary, I think, to get here and to best enjoy the area. Great super hosts!

Michelle was such a lovely host. She left us some lovely muffins when we checked in and she also let us have a late check out the next day which was really nice of her. We thought the decor of the cabin was lovely and every detail was thought of, and it had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was absolutely perfect, and I wish we could've stayed longer. It felt like we were staying with a friend. Steph was super friendly and met us when we arrived. The homemade scones were delicious! The cottage is very rural, and if you're looking for peace and quiet, you'll be in heaven like we were. The kitchen was well appointed, and we ducked down the road to the market for a few things so that we could take advantage of it. Literally no complaints. . . except that we had to leave!

Converted schoolhouse with lovely character, well set up for children with cot/stair gates. Our son loved meeting the cows from the field next door! Very good communication from Lorraine re accessing property and lovely breakfast bits left in the fridge for us. Took us a little while to warm up but I guess that's the nature of the tall older building taking a while to heat! many thanks for a lovely night's stay.
