Gorgeous countryside studio with hot tub

Very clean and tidy. When we got there the staff was very friendly. Hot tub was nice and hot and the lodge was very warm and cosy. Can not fault our stay, it is out in the sticks but it is worth the money

The Venue - Luxury Barn

We had a fantastic stay here for my husband's 30th birthday! It was very clean and exactly what we were hoping for, the host also communicated with us extremely well! We would definitely recommend to our friends. The only things that we would have changed would be that there were curtains/blinds as the windows are very big so when it is dark it is a bit eerie, and it would be useful if there was a towel rail or hooks to hang your towels on in the bathroom.

Woodland Retreat

BenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Janet was very communicative in advance, and she and her husband welcomed us at the gate to their property when we arrived. They were friendly and had warmed up the cabin for us in advance. Their dog Archie was friendly and very well behaved, and they checked if we were ok with dogs before letting him out to greet us. The decor in the cabin was quirky but very well kept and clean. It was a lovely, cosy, quiet get-away and pleasant woodland surroundings.

The Cabin

GeorgiaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We loved our stay in Hal’s cabin. He provided everything we could have needed and we loved the little personal touches he left for us on arrival. The view from the cabin was amazing and we woke up to views of gorgeous sunrises from bed. Hal was a great host and we would highly recommend this place for a relaxing escape away into the countryside. There was a heated mattress topper and a heated blanket which were perfect for our winter stay!

Cosy Rustic Cottage in Jacobean Farmhouse grounds

RichardRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is a unique and stunning property - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ideal for 2 small dogs on bonfire night, well away from any noise, people or traffic. Cottage is very comfortable with everything you need - the sofa bed is very comfortable and we had a great sleep - so we are going to buy one! Jude is very helpful and friendly and worth checking his website to learn more about what he and his family are doing and vision for the property. The main house is stunning. Only issue we had was finding the place - combination of a stitch up between the sat nav, mobile phone which lost reception and w3w coupled with a very later than planned arrival. Jude very kindly came out and rescued us and took us to the property. It is easy to find - head up Bickey Lane, over the railway bridge and keep going past the sign for ‘Gated Road’ on LhS - driveway is about 200m after the junction. Look for house sign “Upper Lowbourn”. Be sure to bring a torch and your wellies!!
