A peaceful cottage, light, airy and in the country with plenty of secure parking. Pipehouse is ideal to discover Bath, the Cotswolds, Oxford, Longleat, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Stourhead, Wells and Cheddar. There is charging for Electric cars about 1 mile away at Flourish Farm Shop Farleigh Road Norton St Philip (Just off the A36). My husband is a qualified instructor and offers clay pigeon shooting. There is a 2 night minimum requirement at weekends between 1st May and 2nd January each year.

Just 15 mins from Bath by car and 9 mins by train our location is peaceful and quiet but with the amenities of Bath and beautiful Cotswold countryside on your doorstep! Go shopping in Bath, go wild swimming in the Avon or Frome, walk the local hills.You can even walk directly from the cottage into Bath (7miles) following the canal and catch a train back to the cottage.Once home you have a modern kitchen and bathrooms . The cottage has Fast WiFi (37gb)and Smart TV for streaming and Freeview.

You have your own private entrance with lockbox for the key but we are just next door if you need to ask us any advice or need to borrow any further amenities.

Charming and Historic 2 Bed Cottage near Bath

We arrived at Freshford earlier than we thought, we contacted Rachel to see if we could check in and thankfully we could! Yay! The cottage was fab, our sons (14 & 9) loved; what they called, the ‘Bunker’ room. The photos didn’t do it justice. Had everything you’d expect including the classic family game Frustration! 😂. Location was spot on for walks. We walked to Avon Cliff (had a drink at The Cross Guns) & a 5 min walk to the station where we had a lovely day in Bath. (Lots of walking). Was a shame The Inn was still closed but this didn’t spoil our time spent in the Weavers Cottage. We especially enjoyed waking up, opening the Velux, enjoying the view & listening to the birds with a cuppa.

Lynette and Chris were lovely hosts! Clear communication and so helpful with an explanation regarding the bus route to and from the city which was approximately 10 minutes! The inside of the Airbnb was beautiful and clean. Chris even came down to guide us through the use of the washing/ dryer machine!! The view of Bath from the hillside was amazing!

Penny and Jon are fabulous hosts. They make you feel at home and bring warm croissants around each morning. They made recommendations of restaurants in walking distance and the short walk down the lanes was idyllic - we even picked wild asparagus - which is also served in the local pub. Would highly recommend a visit to this part of the world. We will definitely return in the future.

Absolutely loved this place - the family are so sweet, the nest is beautiful and the views are amazing! Even their cutest lil dog gave us a warm welcome! The hosts were very welcoming, helpful and even very kindly gifted us some wine, as well as letting us stay past our check-out time (which was much appreciated!). The nest had everything we needed and is such a cosy space. We loved it here and will definitely stay again - the location is just brilliant and Bradford on Avon is such a stunning town. Thanks so much for having us!
