Cabin vacation rentals in Frankfort

The cabin was so nice! Exactly as pictured. Our family had a very nice couple of days to get away and relax together. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything that you would need!

This is my third time staying at Angie & Jay’s place. It’s beautiful, cozy, and very peaceful.

This was a last minute stay so we didn’t stay too long but sure wished we could have! This place was so peaceful and absolutely beautiful! I will definitely be going back for a mini vacation here in our home state! John was super friendly and very responsive. Definitely worth the price.

Carolyn’s place truly felt like home! The comfort and charm were unmatched, with sturdy and well-appointed furniture that made it easy to relax. The tasteful decor added a touch of elegance and made every room a delight to spend time in. The large, inviting rooms and spacious bathrooms were exactly what we needed to unwind after a long day of travel. This place was also immaculately clean! The location is conveniently close to the Bourbon Trail, making it perfect for exploring the area's distilling history. We visited Maker's Mark, Buffalo Trace, and Wild Turkey - all not too far away. I highly recommend this gem to anyone seeking a cozy, beautifully curated, and scenic getaway. It’s definitely a place worth bookmarking for future visits!

Oct 18, 2024... We HIGHLY RECOMMEND John's place, as one of the best places we have stayed. We needed a place to stay on short notice, he had availability & we booked same day! John was quick to responded! His cabin was beautiful, spacious & clean, with very comfortable beds & spacious, clean, hot showers. Hot tub was a sweet treat after long day!! If we return to the area in future, we would definitely book John's place again!

We had a great overnight stay. My teens loved it, especially the hot tub. We had plenty of space and everything was as described.

Location was great. Our family made some beautiful memories together. Will recommend to family and friends. Hope to come back soon.

Cozy rustic cabin with an amazing back deck and a beautiful view! Great hosts! And though it is out in the country, it’s close to Lexington and some great local restaurants. Plus on the same property as a zip line course and hiking trails. Awesome hidden gem!

My stay at this Airbnb was absolutely incredible. Tucked away in the woods, the private location provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The space itself was spacious and comfortable, with ample room to relax and unwind. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a peaceful and private retreat in a stunning natural setting. I can't wait to come back and stay here again.

I brought my aging Mother and Father out for a visit to the Ark Encounter. Clinton’s place was easily accessible from the interstate, as well as, easy access for my parents. We were able to pull right up to the door. It was exactly as described and accommodated four adults and a small dog quite nicely. We enjoyed the fire pit one evening and a couple of nice walks through the property. If you’re looking for a true break from the rat race of life then this is the place. It was so cozy, private, and peaceful. We also felt safe enough to leave our keys in the car. That alone is worth its weight in gold. The “Hunter’s Hideaway” is definitely a gem in its own right and if I ever find myself in Kentucky again I will certainly seek this place out.

The Bourbon Lodge is definitely the place to stay while visiting this area of KY. It’s neat to be out in the country seeing the nearby residents work with their cattle. The house is wonderful. It’s quiet and off the beaten path. It’s just like the pictures, very clean and comfy. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. A favorite thing of mine is to look at the stars. They were vibrant because it’s very dark at night, hardly any light pollution. Maybe next time I’ll bring a telescope. During our stay it was frigidly cold. We built a fire downstairs. This made for a cozy hangout watching 80’s videos! All of our travels to the distilleries were between 25 mins to an hour for a few. We all needed some downtime and this was the place to be in Bourbon Country.

Really enjoyed our stay it’s so quiet and relaxing having the lake a few steps away it’s really nice. The house has a very welcoming feeling it’s great. Anytime we’re back in the area we will definitely plan to stay at Josie’s.

We had a very charming visit. It was a stunning property, lovely home, Buffalo neighbors, and responsive hosts; we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Our group consisted of two small families with toddlers in tow. We spent the majority of our stay on the screened patio soaking in great views with great company. Bottom line: a somewhat magical experience for us all. Thanks for hosting us!

My wife and I stayed here for a few days and we loved the place. And they allow dogs which was a plus for us. Check in process was super easy and the place was awesome! Highly recommend.

Jessica’s cabin is the perfect place to find solace and relax! I was able to stay at the cabin while traveling for work and I feel like I struck gold. Her place is 25 mins from downtown Lexington, Kentucky so I was able to easily commute to and from the work event when needed and rest and relax at her cabin when I was off. Jessica was friendly, helpful and down to earth. She was kind enough to provide me with her recommendations for the area and encouraged me to walk around the farm and meet some of the furry residents ☺️! Of the four legged friends that I met, the baby doll sheep 🐑 were probably my favorite! I loved the horses, Great Danes and Suffolk sheep too! The cabin was clean, quiet and peaceful. The bed was incredibly cozy. The shower was hot and had great pressure. The wifi worked great and I was able to keep up with all of my work email. I truly enjoyed my time at the cabin. I sincerely hope to visit again some day and would recommend this spot to anyone.

This place was amazing. The home is top notch and farm is wonderful.

Absolutely blown away with the rental. I would’ve never know anyone had ever stayed there before it was so clean. Everything you’d need was included and Mike was excellent to respond to any questions. I highly recommend and would absolutely stay again if back in the area.

Alex’s place was exactly what we wanted for a weekend away! Close to all of the distilleries and far enough away for some peace and quiet. The house was cozy and a great place to relax after a day out. Would highly recommend staying here if looking for a spot to crash while checking out some of the great distilleries KY has to offer!

Wonderful experience at Boone’s Cabin! Secluded setting in a great location for the Bourbon Festival. Cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Sheila was very proactive and even got us in early! Would definitely visit again.

From the time we showed up until we left, any question I had was answered. Answered even quicker than I had expected. The in-laws were impressed as well and we enjoyed a quick walk around the property.

The moment we entered the property we felt at home. It was such a memorable stay with my family. The hosts provided everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Enjoyed views of Beautiful horses and country landscape with my morning coffee on the front porch. Will definitely be back again.
