Vacation rentals in Franconia

Such a beautiful location with a wonderful view, I came for a staycation just for the night and it was absolutely worth it and exactly what I was looking for. I can’t wait to come back in the warmer months!

We were looking for a weekend getaway from DC and this beautifully renovated stone farmhouse tucked into a secluded hillside was exactly what we are looking for. We biked the WOD trail and wanted to be close to town and restaurants so location was perfect. Bedroom/living area was exactly as depicted in the photos. Kitchen, laundry, bathroom on ground level below all clean, modern fixtures, and spacious. Loved relaxing by the fire pit. Peaceful and quiet/private surroundings.

This is a lovely and spacious home in a beautiful setting along the Potomac River. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck with our morning coffee or in the evening, watching the sun set or the deer along the river. Those views were also available in the spacious living room facing the deck. The kitchen was well appointed, which we always appreciate when cooking meals in and the beds and linens were nice and comfortable. There were games available in the closet and my adult kids enjoyed setting up and playing badminton on the back lawn. Sylvia was a wonderful host that communicated clearly and was very helpful. We will look forward to coming back some time in the future.

Margie was great. She introduced herself to my son and I right when we got there. The accommodations were excellent. Beds were super comfy and everything was very clean. House sits right on a small lake in a very nice neighborhood.

The house was perfect for our entire family! Just the right size and super comfortable.

We loved our stay. It was spotless, safe, and so comfortable. It was just beautiful. I enjoyed sitting on the patio at night with my kindle and a glass of wine. It is also super convenient to our children and grandchildren. We definitely plan to stay here in the future.

This place was just perfect for my friends and I to relax and getaway for my birthday! The furnishings and decor made us feel at home. The neighborhood was tranquil and a couple minutes to the supermarket which was convenient. We can’t wait to book Melissa’s place again in the future. She was a wonderful host!

Great location, everything clean, Mark is incredibly responsive, and he clearly pays a lot of attention to keeping the apartment stocked with everything a guest needs. For example, when we used the stove top, there was a great selection of pans, there was a potholder right there, all the cooking utensils we needed, dish soap, a drying rack, etc. It may seem like a little thing, but it’s representative of the entire apartment. If there’s something you need and hope is there, it’s there. Great stay.
