What a historical gem! We had such a great time staying at Melissa’s place. It’s like stepping into the 1750’s. Melissa is a great host. She met us at the house for a brief historical tour. This home is very charming and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It’s comfortable and clean with peaceful views of the farm. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent location for a stay during a conference at the Gaylord Convention Center. Very unique lodging on a houseboat!

Greg’s place was very cozy and very relaxing, I was there to pick up my daughter from school, so I thought it was a nice area and place to stay until I was ready to head out, I needed to extend my check out and also check in a little earlier and he was so nice about it. When I come back to Alexandria I would def be staying at Greg’s Place. Very nice guy ☺️

Exactly as pictured. Very comfortable bed & plenty of space to spread out. If you're tall? Just watch your head on the beams. I'm 6'3" & was cutting it VERY close. There is a parking spot set aside in the driveway which is nice. The house isn't on the "main" road & you have to make a turn making it a little hard to find initially. All in all, I would definitely stay again & recommend that you stop reading now & book your stay!!!

Absolutely what I was looking for!!!! Peaceful and quiet neighborhood, an area where I would live. Jada was wonderful, I enjoyed my short stay so much, I am returning back very soon. Jada was very intensive, each time I sent her a message she responded back so quickly. The home is beautiful, when I return, I will spend more time in the sunroom. The ambience was outstanding….this is definitely my style.

I loved this stay! First, Jacqueline was extremely accommodating and communicative. My husband just retired from the military and we needed a place to stay that could (and would) accommodate our dogs. Second, the driveway is large! We were able to park our 26ft moving truck and both my car and his truck, with room to spare. Third, this home is cozy and larger on the inside than what you might assume from the outside! It’s clean and very nicely decorated. It has that historic Alexandria charm, from the wood floors to the iron chairs, and even a Pineapple knocker! The pictures do not do justice! Four, there is a private backyard! The dogs enjoyed themselves and I adored the vine covered trees! It was large and lovely. Five, you have everything you need to feel at home, including the laundry access, full kitchen, furniture, and TVs. Everything about this home was well and thoroughly thought of. I 100% recommend Jacqueline’s stay!!!

My boyfriend and I both work remotely so we enjoy running off to different towns to explore them after we clock out. Mason Neck had so many different walking trails in addition to the state park: the foliage was beautiful! We were only 30 mins from George Town so we were able to visit Filomena’s our favorite restaurant (highly recommend). The guest house looked exactly like the pictures; lots of natural light and a comfortable bed. The host was responsive, kind, and accommodating. Great stay!
