Villa vacation rentals in Formia

This is a gem! The house is super practical, and the proximity to the beach makes it a fantastic retreat with kids. We made many new friends at the public beach. Cornettis and cappucino in the morning at the cafe Ciao 90 (the kids were allowed in the backyard where they had an olive garden with hens, geese and turtles! Absolute treat). The pizzeria Minotti has brilliant pizza and fries (seafod less impressive), and the supermarket Sisa has your necessities. A car is nice for when you want specifics, but you can get by nicely by walking. The house has a parking space under a roof so the car is nice and cool in the morning. The local beach has beautiful sand, and a long shallow perfect for kids. As Norwegian travellers, we didn’t hear any other languages than Italian, so we presume it’s a bit of a local secret this area. We will definitely return to this little slice of heaven.

Giovanna and Antonio are INCREDIBLE Hosts, super friendly, willing, discreet and always attentive to what you need to resolve. Worship, friendly, fraternal, and affectionate, everything you can ask for from a person in them. The house and the place, UNIQUE!!, a spectacular view of the sunrises and sunsets, the view from the kitchen, but above all from the bedroom IS MIND-BLOWING!! You feel like you own the world looking at the city of Formia and the bay from above. The gazebo in the middle of the olive trees offers you a view during the day and night with some beautiful breezes and where you can make a barbecue to your measure. The whole environment is on one side of the hosts house, but it has ABSOLUTE privacy and both Giovanna and Antonio make sure that privacy is respected. An entire experience the olive oil that they produce themselves, the fresh eggs from their chickens, the figs... if you want to live and feel like an Italian more you must stay here!

Beautiful villa with a large garden, located within an area where you can access through a common gate. The area is quiet and you can't hear the noise of traffic. When we arrived, everything was clean and tidy as stated in the listing. The only negative note was the lack of blankets for the night, which would have been helpful because unfortunately we had a few days of bad weather with relative temperature drop. Other than that, we had a great time and would be happy to come back.

Beautiful spot, we stayed in June and it was hot outside but easy to keep cool inside without air conditioning. The scenery is outstanding and it was nice to walk around I side the secluded gated community. Well stocked all around! The kitchen had everything you needed and then some. Even a variety of Italian coffee maker sizes. Linen on the bed was beautiful. It's less than 15 minutes to Sperlonga which is a cute little non-touristy town. I'd recommend parking at the top of the hill your first trip there. Be sure to bring cash especially coins as parking in Sperlonga annoyingly only seems to accept this as payment. Sometimes the neighbors played loud music but our host was able to talk to them and there was no issue from them after that. Host was perfect and greeted us there. Great place. The host was very nice, responsive and helpful with recommendations and constantly checking in. The house was very comfortable and clean, perfect for families looking to stay in this beautiful town. We had a rental car which made it easy to go around the town. The location was private and full of luscious orange and lemon trees which was definitely a very luxurious surprise for us !! Would definitely recommend holidus beautiful place to any groups or families looking to visit minturno.

Franco was a very kind and friendly host. He met us for all our needs. Very helpful. The apartment was conveniently located for shopping, sightseeing and easy to reach with luggage.

A fantastic house, with plenty of space inside and out, no more than 50m from a wonderful beach with numerous bars; all of it 10 minutes beach walk from the beautiful Sperlonga. A real find!

We loved La Bouganville! We were a large Canadian family with a baby and everyone had a comfortable private space. The living rooms were cosy and the kitchen was practical. The location and the view were priceless! Luigi was so welcoming and helpful. It was the perfect place for our family Christmas reunion. And the fireworks on New Year's Eve were spectacular! Thank-you for the wonderful memories.

Everything is very nice. Very spacious house, beautiful terrace, well-equipped bathrooms, nice garden with swing for children, lounge chairs and sun loungers available. Real direct access to the beach. The house is complete with everything, you only need towels for the sea. Ample space for cars on the property. Everything completely matches the description. Host available, punctual, and prompt. It was definitely a great experience!!

The view is stunning, the house beautiful and really well made in the 60’s, with classic tiles and beautiful taste. The rooms and bathrooms are simple but functioning and clean. It is a fabulous house and the peace and privacy are unbeatable - absolutely recommended.

The vacation, from August 12 to 27, 2024 was really pleasant and comfortable in the home of Giuseppe and Monica, people of unique kindness and availability. The house is very large, very clean, tidy and above all fresh thanks to the air conditioners, it met the needs of 3 children and 3 adults. It was practically like being at home but with more space available. The beach and sea are very clean, but a few minutes away by car. Definitely if we return to the Fondi area for the holidays, we would like to stay with Giuseppe and Monica

We stayed in Francesca's house for 1 week and I can only give you the most votes . The very clean house full of every comfort close to the sea and activities ,a beautiful terrace. Francesca was always kind and always responded to every need . I highly recommend it because we really had a wonderful week.

We spent a week at the end of July at Roberto's house. The house is very nice, with a large garden and is in a strategic location. Close to the sea but far from the confusion of Circeo. On the beautiful patio we spent lunches and dinners in the shade. We will be back for sure.

We had a wonderful week at Paola in Formia. The house is in a difficult to reach spot, but fine to do with a taxi. We walked down daily and went back to the house with a taxi. The house is spacious. The airconditioners in the bedrooms are (fortunately) doing very well. The pool is perfectly maintained and is lovely to cool off. We took a boat trip along the coast (from 10 am to 6 pm) and that was beautiful. I enjoy swimming in the sea. We can highly recommend this accommodation.

I had the pleasure of staying in Salvatore's house in Rio Claro with my family and the experience was simply wonderful. The house is beautiful and quiet, a real retreat perfect for relaxing. It was extremely clean and well cared for, and there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it easy and enjoyable to prepare meals. In addition, the garden is a corner of paradise where we could enjoy the sun and quiet moments. A great advantage of the house is the proximity to the sea, which is beautiful and easily accessible. With a walk to the beach we enjoyed the blue flag sea. A special thank you goes to the hosts, who were very kind and helpful. They made our stay even more enjoyable with their hospitality, hospitality and attention to detail.

Stefano was always super helpful, we could not imagine a better place to stay and a better host, it was really nice everything!

What a beautiful location near the ocean! The house is lovely and we enjoyed cooking a few meals, sitting on the terrace soaking in the sun and ocean view. Remo was very responsive and the property caretaker, Luigi, was there to greet us, show us around, and answer any questions we had. Lovely uncrowded pool and ocean access. What a way to start our one-week visit before heading to busy Rome!

Piccolo Paradiso is a well appointed villa high on a hill above Formia with a gorgeous view of the sea and the peninsula of Gaeta. The hosts Antonio and Lucia were very responsive to a few initial issues we encountered. Also, we hired Lucia for a special cooking class and dinner one evening - which was a great experience! This property is very special indeed.

We had a truly wonderful stay. The hosts were exceptionally kind, thoughtful, and always ready to help—every time we had a question or a small issue, they responded incredibly quickly and warmly. The house is beautifully decorated, full of charm and character, and the surrounding views are simply stunning. As is often the case with older houses, getting a consistently warm shower took a bit of patience now and then—but that’s just part of the charm. One of the highlights of our trip was the incredible adventure in the Falvaterra caves—absolutely unforgettable, and the perfect complement to the peaceful atmosphere of the house. And we must mention the sweetest little dog, who often came by to say hello and happily accepted all the cuddles and scratches. We felt very well taken care of and would happily return!

We stayed for a couple of weeks and had a wonderful time. The view from the garden is fantastic and made us smile until the end. If you come here make sure to hike the Monte Orso, eat some Tielle in Gaeta, visit Sperlonga (!) and if you are into a sports challenge rent some bikes at "World Bike Formia". There were a couple of small things that need fixing in the house (missing doorhandles, leaking faucet...), but whenever something actually bothered us it was quickly fixed. Marco was very helpful and put a lot of effort into making sure that our stay would be a pleasent one :-)
